February Prayer Intention

February Prayer Intention

Father in heaven, may this Lenten season of repentance bring us and the world the blessing of your forgiveness and mercy and the gift of your light.

Lord Jesus teach us to love, serve and show mercy as You did.

Holy Spirit guide and strengthen us.

Amen

Pray as never before

Notes of meeting on 26 January 2016

Picture of Our Blessed Mother, we were all kneeling before her in prayer.  Her hands were outstretched laying blessings upon us.
She says:
"My children now is the time to pray as never before, you are entering into a time of great mercy but also great challenge and tribulation.
Satan does not want mercy or prayer and especially love between you and your brothers and sisters on Earth.
Like a child you will be tested and fall scraping your knees, get up and pray some more Satan will never vanquish you when you pray.
Pray for souls who do not know my Son and for those who know Him and yet forsake Him.
You will never come to any extreme harm for I shall cover you with my mantle and so Satan will have no hold on you. Be faithful as I know in my heart you will reap great rewards in your families and friends and by knowing the fallen have been raised from darkness. Be Simon's to my Son Jesus.
I bless you with my motherly blessing. Be in the Peace of my Son Jesus.
Your ever loving Mother Mary."

Romans 12 v 1 - 3

1 I urge you, then, brothers, remembering the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, dedicated and acceptable to God; that is the kind of worship for you, as sensible people.
2 Do not model your behaviour on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God -- what is good and acceptable and mature.
3 And through the grace that I have been given, I say this to every one of you: never pride yourself on being better than you really are, but think of yourself dispassionately, recognising that God has given to each one his measure of faith.

Lord we ask you to continue to pour out on us your graces and blessings. Continue to anoint us with the Horn of your power and your oil of gladness. Anoint us as priests, prophets and kings that we may serve you and our brothers and sisters.

Judith 13
v 14... 'Praise God! Praise him! Praise the God who has not withdrawn his mercy from the House of Israel..

Anoint us

Notes from meeting on 19 February 2016

Tonight we celebrated Mass together with Fr. Michael Whalen and members of the Zion group from Newton Aycliffe.  Many thanks to them for sharing with us.

Reading 1, First Samuel 16:1-13

1 Yahweh said to Samuel, 'How much longer do you mean to go on mourning over Saul, now that I myself have rejected him as ruler of Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have found myself a king from among his sons.'
2 Samuel replied, 'How can I go? When Saul hears of it he will kill me.' Yahweh then said, 'Take a heifer with you and say, "I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh."
3 Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I shall reveal to you what you must do; and you will anoint for me the one I indicate to you.'
4 Samuel did what Yahweh ordered and went to Bethlehem. The elders of the town came trembling to meet him and asked, 'Seer, is your coming favourable for us,'
5 'Yes,' he replied. 'I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh. Purify yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.' He purified Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.
6 When they arrived, he looked at Eliab and thought, 'This must be Yahweh's anointed now before him,'
7 but Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Take no notice of his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him; God does not see as human beings see; they look at appearances but Yahweh looks at the heart.'
8 Jesse then called Abinadab and presented him to Samuel, who said, 'Yahweh has not chosen this one either.'
9 Jesse then presented Shammah, but Samuel said, 'Yahweh has not chosen this one either.'
10 Jesse thus presented seven of his sons to Samuel, but Samuel said to Jesse, 'Yahweh has not chosen these.'
11 He then asked Jesse, 'Are these all the sons you have?' Jesse replied, 'There is still one left, the youngest; he is looking after the sheep.' Samuel then said to Jesse, 'Send for him, for we shall not sit down to eat until he arrives.'
12 Jesse had him sent for; he had ruddy cheeks, with fine eyes and an attractive appearance. Yahweh said, 'Get up and anoint him: he is the one!'
13 At this, Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him, surrounded by his brothers; and the spirit of Yahweh seized on David from that day onwards. Samuel, for his part, set off and went to Ramah.

Gospel, Mark 2:23-28

23 It happened that one Sabbath day he was taking a walk through the cornfields, and his disciples began to make a path by plucking ears of corn.
24 And the Pharisees said to him, 'Look, why are they doing something on the Sabbath day that is forbidden?'
25 And he replied, 'Have you never read what David did in his time of need when he and his followers were hungry-
26 how he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the loaves of the offering which only the priests are allowed to eat, and how he also gave some to the men with him?'
27 And he said to them, 'The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath;
28 so the Son of man is master even of the Sabbath.'

God wishes to anoint us with the horn of oil, giving us strength and power to live the life of the Spirit.

Picture of many small lights shining in darkness; pray that they would come together in great beams (searchlights) to spread the light.

I have called you and chosen you. Do not doubt my word. Drink deeply of my life and you will grow strong.

Picture of our Blessed Mother who was comforting her sorrowful Son, Jesus. She produced from within her cloak a pearl of great lustre and beauty that she herself had honed and polished. She placed the pearl onto the circle of thorns surrounding her Son's sorrowful heart. The pearl seemed to gather light and beauty and other jewels in the thorns could be seen.
Jesus smiled and thanked his Mother as this small jewel of our worship and faithfulness gave him great comfort in his distress. The other jewels of beauty (taken to be other groups) also gave comfort to him in his agony, the agony of indifferent mankind.
The peal portrays our group like may other praying for mitigation of lost souls in darkness and that aligning ourselves to his torment and agony and making reparation in our small way we co-operate in the mystery of Jesus' redemption of mankind.
Jesus says: "You are a pearl of great blessing produced by the tears and entreaties of My Blessed Mother. She has caused me to shower you with gifts through the Holy Spirit, may they grow in each one of you causing the fruit of my great Mercy on mankind."

so shall I look after my sheep

Notes of meeting on 12 January 2016

Picture of Jesus right here amongst us. He showed us may fruit trees, grain fields, animals and vines that His Father had supplied for us. These are to feed and fortify our bodies and we should avail ourselves of these with great thanksgiving to the Father.
In the same way as we take in sustenance we are to open our hearts to the spiritual food provided by the Father. Jesus then showed us the Book of the Holy Word, the gift of Himself in the Eucharist and openness to the Holy Spirit so that all can grow in our hearts giving our spiritual bodies sustenance. This in turn brings forth the flowering of the seed firmly planted a baptism nurturing and growing within us sustaining our spiritual bodies so that in time the likeness of the Father becomes profound within each soul and this in turn will make us more able to draw other souls to the Father and Jesus.
Jesus says:
"Be open to My Spirit, be fed by Me and in turn you will feed our brothers and sisters. My little flock so dear to my heart, I bless you with the Father's grace. Draw all men unto Me."

Ezekiel 34 v 11-17
11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shall take care of my flock and look after it.
12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shall I look after my sheep. I shall rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.
13 I shall bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shall gather them back from the countries and bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the inhabited parts of the country.
14 I shall feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground. There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.
15 I myself shall pasture my sheep, I myself shall give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
16 I shall look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. I shall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.
17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and he-goats.

Heavenly Father I ask you to bless our group Theotokos. Send your Spirit upon us so that we will be witnesses to the living light of Jesus in our lives. You chose Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit to become the first tabernacle to hold your Son Jesus in her womb, therefore I ask Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, to bear us into holiness. Teach us to listen to the voice of God in the stillness of our hearts and live in his presence offering all our joys and sorrows for his honour and glory. Teach us to pray for the conversion of our hearts and the conversion of the world so that we may become faithful ambassadors of your Son, Jesus.
Amen

Accept the gift of Jesus

Notes of meeting on 22 December 2015

Picture of our Blessed Mother carrying a large wrapped box. She placed the box in the middle of us and opened it. Inside was the beautiful sleeping baby Jesus.
She told us o open our hearts so that she could bestow the most perfect gift to each one of us. She came in turn to each one of us and placed the sleeping child in our arms.
She says:
"Accept the gift I bring you, Love is His Name.
1. To everyone you meet may you bring the peace of My Child Jesus
2. Be meek and loving as your brother my Son Jesus is.
3. Hold dear in your hearts my precious sons, your priests, love them and pray for them.
4. Be followers and watchers of the Christ Child my Son and you will be perfected.
5. Do good to all persons you meet and pray earnestly that they will come to know my Son Jesus fully especially those who would be lost.
6. Come to me your most loving Mother when you are in need. I myself will wipe away your tears as I do my tiny Son's and I will comfort you.
7. Remember to pray for the bride of my Son, His Church.
I bless you with my baby Son's tears and smiles.
Your loving Mother."
