Theotokos Prayer Group 2021 - Update No.15

Peace be with you!


Luke 24:35-48

35 Then they told their story of what had happened on the road and how they had recognised him at the breaking of bread.

36 They were still talking about all this when he himself stood among them and said to them, 'Peace be with you!'

37 In a state of alarm and fright, they thought they were seeing a ghost.

38 But he said, 'Why are you so agitated, and why are these doubts stirring in your hearts?

39 See by my hands and my feet that it is I myself. Touch me and see for yourselves; a ghost has no flesh and bones as you can see I have.'

40 And as he said this he showed them his hands and his feet.

41 Their joy was so great that they still could not believe it, as they were dumbfounded; so he said to them, 'Have you anything here to eat?'

42 And they offered him a piece of grilled fish,

43 which he took and ate before their eyes.

44 Then he told them, 'This is what I meant when I said, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, in the Prophets and in the Psalms, was destined to be fulfilled.'

45 He then opened their minds to understand the scriptures,

46 and he said to them, 'So it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,

47 and that, in his name, repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

48 You are witnesses to this.


Jesus you say to us "Peace be with you". 

Help us to recognise the peace of your presence with us even in our times of darkness, difficulty and stress.

Take away our doubts in the reality of your presence with us now and always. Amen

Picture of Our Lord in a small boat, Our Lord is looking at the sea to find a lost soul, he points the boat in the correct direction as He sees the soul almost but not quite drowned, he pulls the person into the boat and gently touches their face, removing the seaweed and grit in their hair and slowly the soul awakens. The soul feels so loved and safe with Our Lord, it never again wants to leave Him.

“My dear children when you pray, your act of prayer  especially when said in my Son’s Holy and Divine Will, acts as a refuge for some poor soul in need of assistance. My children you may never see the results of your prayers said on Earth but when you come into my Son’s Kingdom all your saving acts will be before you and those that you have helped with prayer will rejoice along with all of Heaven. The smallest prayer in my Son’s Will is an act for the whole Body of The Church, we are all one body united in Him and united to the Father and the Holy Spirit. 
I ask you to be vigilant and look to help poor souls with your heartfelt prayers, Your prayer could be the difference between the persons soul turning to God and being saved or sadly them turning away from Redemption. Much vigilant prayer is needed at this moment in time, you must fortify yourselves with the Holy Sacraments and these will enable you to do the will of my Son. Call on me and I shall respond in your need, I am your Mother and know how to help you in all you do.

Intercessions

Pray for peace and justice in the world. Pray for Yemen, Mozambique and Myanmar and all countries were there is war, unrest, famine and drought.

Pray for Jaimie whom we have been praying for who has only six weeks to live as the cancer has spread all over. Pray for a peaceful death, comfort for her husband and five children one of which is only 3 months old. 

Pray for a travelling girl who is a single mother that she might find someone to marry Also pray Eileen in the travelling community who has two sick children and is pregnant with a third who the doctors suspect is Downs Syndrome please ask for a miracle that the doctors are wrong and for courage for the mother as she is in a very dark place and can’t face it!

Pray for healing of memories in the Smith family.

Pray for emotional and inner healing for Dan.

Pray for John who has a brain scan shortly to assess how his cancer treatment has gone.

Pray for healing for Josefina she now has diabetic retinopathy on top of her other problems. She doesn't want to lose what little sight she has left.

Pray for Colin Sutheran. He's in a coma from covid and needs healing.

Yvonne Noone has asked for prayer for a gentleman called Shamus (Hartlepool Prayer Group) he has been given very bad news after some tests and has been told their isn’t much that they can do. Dear Jesus we leave Shamus in your Holy and Divine Will. Amen
 
Please pray for a lady in Southern Ireland called Jamie, a young Mother with 4 children the last being born three weeks ago, she has a tumour on her brain and has had surgery but now cannot speak, also the doctors are not sure if to go with Radio Therapy or Chemo so we ask that God will provide her with all the Healing she needs and to help the doctors to give her the correct treatment so she will be fully restored and can once again be a  Mother to her children, and ask for peace for her husband and family.
 
Continue to pray for Ann, she has a Court hearing on 27 April.

Continue to pray for Dave with cancer he had major surgery and, after 17 days in hospital, is now back at home..no decision as yet about chemo.

Thank the Lord that David is now working now and we pray for his conversion that he may fully find the Lord.

Continue to pray for Andrew Haygarth that the Lord would bring him healing physically and spiritually.

The girl we are praying for with the mental health problems is doing better but please keep praying for a full

Please pray for Austin, who is fighting Prostate Cancer for the second time and it is more aggressive this time, the tests and treatment so far have been gruelling and he finds out on the 12th what kind of treatment plan they will carry on with.

Pray for Alan Guile and his healing ministry. May God bless him and all those he ministers to.

Pray for Heather who is struggling with personal problems.

Continue to pray for Cath with cancer

Pray for our Government, local authorities and the health services as they deal with the Corona Virus. Pray for a speedy end to the Coronavirus pandemic throughout the world, and for all those who have contracted the virus and for those who have died. Pray that vaccines will be readily available to all throughout the World.

Pray for our priests and our parishes.

Pray for the intentions of all members of Theotokos.

Pray for lost souls.

Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church and the World.

Theotokos Prayer Group 2021 Update No.14 - Divine Mercy Sunday



John 20 v 21-23

21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

O Greatly Merciful God, Infinite Goodness, today all mankind calls out from the abyss of its misery to Your mercy — to Your compassion, O God; and it is with its mighty voice of misery that it cries out. Gracious God, do not reject the prayer of this earth's exiles! O Lord, Goodness beyond our understanding, Who are acquainted with our misery through and through, and know that by our own power we cannot ascend to You, we implore You: anticipate us with Your grace and keep on increasing Your mercy in us, that we may faithfully do Your holy will all through our life and at death's hour. Let the omnipotence of Your mercy shield us from the darts of our salvation’s enemies, that we may with confidence, as Your children, await Your [Son’s] final coming — that day known to You alone. And we expect to obtain everything promised us by Jesus in spite of all our wretchedness. For Jesus is our Hope: through His merciful Heart, as through an open gate, we pass through to heaven (Sr. Faustina's Diary, 1570).

A picture of the Earth so vibrant with colour and different hues it could only be the work of the Master of Life. The Earth seemed to stand still and a growing vapour of insidious grey and black matter seemed to float and then descend upon the surface like a dark coloured gas, people were choking and covering up their mouths so as not to breathe in this floating gas, people were on their knees praying when Our Blessed Mother arrived in great light and the wholesome blue looking air all around Her, it swirled around and when everyone prayed with the Blessed Mother it forced the black fetid gas to evaporate and disappear, leaving only wholesome air to breathe. The more the people prayed the more it disappeared and the more other people joined them in the prayer!

“My dear children,
Prayer can and does move mountains, nothing is impossible with prayer and grace from the Holy Spirit, my children many terrible happenings have been averted by your heart felt prayers which the Holy Spirit has then actioned, I Myself have laid your prayers in My Heart and magnified and offered them to My Son Jesus , then Jesus loving you as he does, acts and puts into place His Plan to save as many souls as possible, because loosing just one of you is so painful to Him. My children pray fast make sacrifice for the souls of your brothers and sisters and Jesus will be so happy with you, spend time with Him who has given Himself up for your good and your eternal destination. My children go forward hold your heads up high praising God the Father, Jesus my Son and the Most Holy Spirit, then whatever befalls will be in God’s Will for your life. Trust in Him who is Love personified Jesus who died on the Cross and rose from the dead, all for love of you.

Theotokos Prayer Group 2021 Update No. 13 - Easter Sunday

 


            He is Risen. He is Risen indeed! Alleluia 


Mark 16 v 1-7
When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. 3 They had been saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?” 4 When they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled back. 5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed in a white robe, sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you.”

Pray for a young girl, with a mental health problem that is blighting her life, she is to be hospitalised, May she get the help she needs, she also has serious physical health problems, please Lord work a real miracle in her life so that she will be Healed in mind and body and spiritually she will convert to you Dear Lord and so bring her family to You. Her name is written in your Heart Dear Lord.
