Notes of meeting on 22 March 2016
Picture of Jesus on the Cross, His blood streams down upon the world like rivers of mercy.
His pain and humiliation willingly accepted to take away men's sins. He is the perfect lamb with no blemish, the perfect sacrifice to save man from their faults.
Mary Our Mother says:
"Look upon Him, the Saviour of the World, brought low willingly to appease the Father's wrath for the sins of mankind. Turn to Him for He is Love personified. Turn not your backs on such love, stay with Him, for your love and loyalty will help sustain and comfort Him in His great outpouring of Grace and Mercy upon humanity.
I bless you with my Son Jesus' blessing.
Your beloved Mother."
We thank you Lord for helping us carry our crosses, our individual burdens and collective struggles. As you died on the cross, a symbol of justice, help us to see justice issues acting as a shield against the wellspring of the Father’s limitless mercy. May we always be a conduit of mercy, serving in gratitude, fostering your peace and infusing your hope in our world with enthusiasm and conviction. We acknowledge our humanity, living as your Body, sustaining by our loving Father who gives us our daily bread, mercifully for our daily needs, so we are not lead into the temptation of indifference and we can say…Our Father, who art in heaven…
Luke 24 v 1 - 9
On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared.
2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb,
3 but on entering they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in brilliant clothes suddenly appeared at their side.
5 Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, 'Why look among the dead for someone who is alive?
6 He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee:
7 that the Son of man was destined to be handed over into the power of sinful men and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.'
8 And they remembered his words.
9 And they returned from the tomb and told all this to the Eleven and to all the others.
