August Prayer Intention 2016

August Prayer Intention

Pope Francis' prayer for peace and protection from terrorism

O almighty and merciful God, Lord of the universe and of history. All that You have created is good and your compassion for the mistakes of mankind knows no limits.

We come to You today to ask You to keep in peace the world and its people, to keep far away from it the devastating wave of terrorism, to restore friendship and instill in the hearts of your creatures the gift of trust and of readiness to forgive.

O Giver of life, we pray to You also for all those who have died as victims of brutal terrorist attacks. Grant them their eternal reward. May they intercede for the world that is torn apart by conflicts and disagreements.

O Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray to You for the ones who have been wounded in these acts of inhuman violence: children and young people, old people and innocent people accidentally involved in evil. Heal their bodies and hearts; console them with Your strength and, at the same time, take away any hatred and a desire for revenge.

Holy Spirit Consoler, visit the families of the victims of terrorism, families that suffer through no fault of their own. Wrap them in the mantle of Your divine mercy. Make them find again in You and in themselves the strength and courage to continue to be brothers and sisters for others, above all for immigrants, giving witness to Your love by their lives.

Touch the hearts of terrorists so that they may recognize the evil of their actions and may turn to the way of peace and goodness, of respect for the life and for the dignity of every human being, regardless of religion, origin, wealth or poverty.

O God, Eternal Father, in Your mercy hear our prayer which we raise up to You amidst the deafening noise and desperation of the world. We turn to You with great hope, full of trust in Your infinite Mercy. Made strong by the examples of the blessed martyrs, who have rendered courageous testimony to the Gospel, to the point of offering their blood, we entrust ourselves to the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother. We ask for the gift of peace and of the elimination from our midst of the sore of terrorism.

Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Eat and be filled

Notes of meeting on 27 July 2016

Picture of Jesus raising his hand in blessing over us.
At his Heart was a shining monstrance shedding rays of light.
He says: "Eat and be filled".

Psalm 63
1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heart thirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.
2 Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.
3 Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips will praise you.
4 Thus I will bless you all my life, in your name lift up my hands.
5 All my longings fulfilled as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.
6 On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night,
7 for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice;
8 my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.
9 May those who are hounding me to death go down to the depths of the earth,
10 given over to the blade of the sword, and left as food for jackals.
11 Then the king shall rejoice in God, all who swear by him shall gain recognition, for the mouths of liars shall be silenced.

Ephesians 2 v 4 -10
4 But God, being rich in faithful love, through the great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our sins, brought us to life with Christ -- it is through grace that you have been saved-
6 and raised us up with him and gave us a place with him in heaven, in Christ Jesus.
7 This was to show for all ages to come, through his goodness towards us in Christ Jesus, how extraordinarily rich he is in grace.
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9 not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.
10 We are God's work of art, created in Christ Jesus for the good works which God has already designated to make up our way of life.

Luke 7 v 26 - 50
36 One of the Pharisees invited him to a meal. When he arrived at the Pharisee's house and took his place at table,
37 suddenly a woman came in, who had a bad name in the town. She had heard he was dining with the Pharisee and had brought with her an alabaster jar of ointment.
38 She waited behind him at his feet, weeping, and her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them away with her hair; then she covered his feet with kisses and anointed them with the ointment.
39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, 'If this man were a prophet, he would know who this woman is and what sort of person it is who is touching him and what a bad name she has.'
40 Then Jesus took him up and said, 'Simon, I have something to say to you.' He replied, 'Say on, Master.'
41 'There was once a creditor who had two men in his debt; one owed him five hundred denarii, the other fifty.
42 They were unable to pay, so he let them both off. Which of them will love him more?'
43 Simon answered, 'The one who was let off more, I suppose.' Jesus said, 'You are right.'
44 Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, 'You see this woman? I came into your house, and you poured no water over my feet, but she has poured out her tears over my feet and wiped them away with her hair.
45 You gave me no kiss, but she has been covering my feet with kisses ever since I came in.
46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.
47 For this reason I tell you that her sins, many as they are, have been forgiven her, because she has shown such great love. It is someone who is forgiven little who shows little love.'
48 Then he said to her, 'Your sins are forgiven.'
49 Those who were with him at table began to say to themselves, 'Who is this man, that even forgives sins?'
50 But he said to the woman, 'Your faith has saved you; go in peace.'

Stay awake

Notes of meeting on 12 July 2016

Picture of our Blessed Mother kneeling at the foot of the Cross, she is weeping, making reparation for her children. As she weeps so Jesus suffers but gladly to appease the wrath of the Father.
From the four corners of the earth people are walking towards the Cross, they have suffered and are still suffering. They come closer and closer to Jesus and our Blessed Mother. Each person stops before the Cross and makes a deep obeisance before Jesus before they are taken up to the shining white city above.
Our Blessed Mother says:
"My children, as a child copies it's mother in everything and so learns to live, I ask you to redouble your efforts for my suffering Son and to copy His humility and sacrifice for poor souls.
Some of you will be better at fasting or prayer, some of you better at praising or sacrifice, do all that you can to alleviate the suffering of my Son as suffering he gladly bears on behalf of you His beloved brothers and sisters, He is thirsty for the lives of souls who do not know Him.
We thank you and praise God for every effort however small or large.
Be heroic in these times.
From little things great things can come.
I bless you with my motherly love.
Mary"

Luke 21 v 25 - 38
25 'There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; on earth nations in agony, bewildered by the turmoil of the ocean and its waves;
26 men fainting away with terror and fear at what menaces the world, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.
27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 When these things begin to take place, stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation is near at hand.'
29 And he told them a parable, 'Look at the fig tree and indeed every tree.
30 As soon as you see them bud, you can see for yourselves that summer is now near.
31 So with you when you see these things happening: know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 In truth I tell you, before this generation has passed away all will have taken place.
33 Sky and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
34 'Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened by debauchery and drunkenness and the cares of life, and that day will come upon you unexpectedly,
35 like a trap. For it will come down on all those living on the face of the earth.
36 Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to hold your ground before the Son of man.'
37 All day long he would be in the Temple teaching, but would spend the night in the open on the hill called the Mount of Olives.
38 And from early morning the people thronged to him in the Temple to listen to him.

Jeremiah 31 v 1 - 14
1 When that time comes, Yahweh declares, I shall be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.
2 Yahweh says this: They have found pardon in the desert, those who have survived the sword. Israel is marching to his rest.
3 Yahweh has appeared to me from afar; I have loved you with an everlasting love and so I still maintain my faithful love for you.
4 I shall build you once more, yes, you will be rebuilt, Virgin of Israel! Once more in your best attire, and with your tambourines, you will go out dancing gaily.
5 Once more you will plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria (those who plant will themselves enjoy the fruit).
6 Yes, a day will come when the watchmen shout on the mountains of Ephraim, 'Up! Let us go up to Zion, to Yahweh our God!'
7 For Yahweh says this: Shout with joy for Jacob! Hail the chief of nations! Proclaim! Praise! Shout, 'Yahweh has saved his people, the remnant of Israel!'
8 Watch, I shall bring them back from the land of the north and gather them in from the far ends of the earth. With them, the blind and the lame, women with child, women in labour, all together: a mighty throng will return here!
9 In tears they will return, in prayer I shall lead them. I shall guide them to streams of water, by a smooth path where they will not stumble. For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first-born son.
10 Listen, nations, to the word of Yahweh. On the farthest coasts and islands proclaim it, say, 'He who scattered Israel is gathering him, will guard him as a shepherd guarding his flock.'
11 For Yahweh has ransomed Jacob, rescued him from a hand stronger than his own.
12 They will come, shouting for joy on the heights of Zion, thronging towards Yahweh's lavish gifts, for wheat, new wine and oil, sheep and cattle; they will be like a well-watered garden, they will sorrow no more.
13 The young girl will then take pleasure in the dance, and young men and old alike; I shall change their mourning into gladness, comfort them, give them joy after their troubles;
14 I shall refresh my priests with rich food, and my people will gorge themselves on my lavish gifts, Yahweh declares.

I am the Queen of Peace

Notes of meeting on 5 July 2016

A picture of Jesus filling up Mary's cloak with the gift of Peace which she brings to us and showers upon us. Then she spreads her cloak on the floor and gathers up all the prayers and returns them embellished by her tears to Jesus.
She says:
"I am the Queen of Peace let your hearts be still and open, let the Peace of my Son Jesus enter your hearts.
All around you is turmoil and flux, Satan roars loudly but with the gift of my Son's Peace you can stand firm and dismiss his wiles. Pray, fast, make sacrifice for others who don't know or even refute Him, for they will be without peace and so are open to attacks and with no armour.
My dearest Children your Mother loves all, but you must especially work hard now in prayer for your prayers will be magnified by my Son when I present them to Him and so many souls that would be lost will be saved.
Even in these critical times I am with you and continually intercede for you.
I bless you with my Motherly blessing in the Peace of Jesus my Son."

The gift of Peace which is received in our hearts is like a pebble thrown into the water  - its ripples extend outward from ourselves to our family, friends, colleagues and out into the wider world.

Mark 4 v 26-34
26 He also said, 'This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the land.
27 Night and day, while he sleeps, when he is awake, the seed is sprouting and growing; how, he does not know.
28 Of its own accord the land produces first the shoot, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
29 And when the crop is ready, at once he starts to reap because the harvest has come.'
30 He also said, 'What can we say that the kingdom is like? What parable can we find for it?
31 It is like a mustard seed which, at the time of its sowing, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth.
32 Yet once it is sown it grows into the biggest shrub of them all and puts out big branches so that the birds of the air can shelter in its shade.'
33 Using many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, so far as they were capable of understanding it.
34 He would not speak to them except in parables, but he explained everything to his disciples when they were by themselves.

Pray pray my Children

Notes of meeting on 19 July 2016

Picture of Our Blessed Mother standing on top of the world her blue mantle over it. The fringe of her mantle covered England. Her hand was outstretched above her head in entreaty to the Father, her other hand was palm out toward the earth.
A shaft of brilliant light from beyond the heavens came down upon her and the earth, her lips were moving continuously in prayer.
She says:
"Pray pray my Children in these tumultuous times, aid your Mother with your prayers, let the light of heaven penetrate your hearts and then you will be at peace when all around you is in travail.
Your Mother cares for you, look to Jesus, do as He commands. All will be well if you pray with your heart and soul for love to overcome hate.
The victory is won, but Satan knows this and so is spreading hatred and confusion. Exchange this for love and prayer. Satan cannot conquer love, and love is my Son Jesus, arm yourselves with my Holy Rosary, go to my Son in the Eucharist as often as you are able.
My Children be at Peace.
I bless you with my motherly blessing."

Ephesians 6 v 10 - 20
10 Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power.
11 Put on the full armour of God so as to be able to resist the devil's tactics.
12 For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle, but against the principalities and the ruling forces who are masters of the darkness in this world, the spirits of evil in the heavens.
13 That is why you must take up all God's armour, or you will not be able to put up any resistance on the evil day, or stand your ground even though you exert yourselves to the full.
14 So stand your ground, with truth a belt round your waist, and uprightness a breastplate,
15 wearing for shoes on your feet the eagerness to spread the gospel of peace
16 and always carrying the shield of faith so that you can use it to quench the burning arrows of the Evil One.
17 And then you must take salvation as your helmet and the sword of the Spirit, that is, the word of God.
18 In all your prayer and entreaty keep praying in the Spirit on every possible occasion. Never get tired of staying awake to pray for all God's holy people,
19 and pray for me to be given an opportunity to open my mouth and fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel
20 of which I am an ambassador in chains; pray that in proclaiming it I may speak as fearlessly as I ought to.

July Prayer Intention (2016)

July Prayer Intention

Prayer For England.

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our most gentle
Queen and Mother, look down in mercy upon England, Thy
Dowry, and upon all of us who greatly hope and trust in Thee.

By Thee it was that Jesus, our Saviour and our hope was given
unto the world; and He has given Thee to us that we might hope
still more.

Plead for us Thy children whom Thou did receive and accept at
the foot of the Cross O sorrowful Mother.

Intercede for our separated brethren that in the one true fold we may
all be united under the chief shepherd of Christ's flock, and that by
faith and fruitful in good works we may all deserve to see and
praise God together with Thee in our heavenly home.
Amen.

Will you

Notes of meeting on 21 June 2016

A picture of the Holy family at home. Mary gazing at the baby Jesus, St. Joseph near the door. Many angles and people were there gazing at the little King. They praised and sang to Him. St. Joseph opened the door and many more people came in, some were recognisable as our families and friends.
St. Joseph opened the door again and a multitude of priests came in who all knelt down and joined the praise.
Then St. Joseph let in what appeared to be terrorists that had been touched by the Lord's call and they left thee guns in a great pile outside the door. Then heads of state walked in and worshipped Jesus.
Turning back to Jesus he was now a fully grown man with his hands outstretched in blessing. The room was now huge and seemed to have expanded. The praise and singing were sublime.
Our Blessed Mother and the angels started to go to every person present and unbind each person heart and mind. Everyone had some kind of binding upon them, some were so tight that they bit into the flesh. Our Blessed Mother took out her little scissors and cut the knots, some people were really afraid because they had got used to the bindings which seemed a part of them but Our Blessed Mother encouraged them and soothed them saying "Trust in My Son Jesus and trust me".
When every person was free Jesus raised his hand in healing and blessing over us. All adored and glorified the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our Blessed Mother was so happy.
Things quietened down and Jesus said:
"Will you be my apostles, will you go out in my Name, will you love your neighbour, will you guide the little ones, will you use the may gifts you have been blessed with.
Will you give back love for hatred, will you act in goodness and kindness.
Will you lay your life down before me.
Will you pick up your cross and walk with me.
Will you die to self for love of others.
Will you make reparation to me for others.
For I say to you, you are my beloved flock, I put my trust in you to bring the lost, the lame and I will heal their wounds and show them my tender love.
I the true shepherd will never forsake them, if they come their sins will be forgiven and they shall be safe in the true sheepfold.
I bless you in my Name. Jesus"
