Theotokos Prayer Group 2023 - Pentecost Sunday - 28 May 2023

 

Gospel    John 20:19-23 

As the Father sent me, so am I sending you: receive the Holy Spirit

In the evening of the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, ‘Peace be with you’, and showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy when they saw the Lord, and he said to them again, ‘Peace be with you.
‘As the Father sent me,
so am I sending you.’
After saying this he breathed on them and said:
‘Receive the Holy Spirit.
For those whose sins you forgive,
they are forgiven;
for those whose sins you retain,
they are retained.’

Alleluia, alleluia!
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.
Alleluia!

Notes from meeting on 23 May 2023

A picture of a huge light, in its midst is Jesus in great Glory, with Him in this light are the Apostles. The Apostles have taken the light out to the World and many people join the light and so, they too take the light out into the World and an ever perpetuating light is to bBe seen no matter how much darkness is apparent this light will never fade go out or be extinguished. 

This light is the Holy Spirit working through the Trinity, keeping all things fixed as the Father wills.

"My dear children, the World seems in a dark place and so it is, but your Heavenly Father through the workings of the Holy Spirit and the Great Sacrifice of my Son Jesus, will triumph!
I ask each of you to pray for all of Mankind, pushing back against the darkness which pervades nearly all societies.
My little ones you have real power in the Holy Rosary and together with frequent participation in the Holy Sacraments, you can help to avert all that the adversary sends.  Together we will help my Son through the Holy Spirit and draw back Mankind from the deep abyss of darkness and into the Glorious Light of Heaven.
Stand firm in your Faith, all will be well.
I place my Motherly Blessing upon you

Lord pour out your Holy Spirit upon us, the Church and the World.

Pray for our young people that they may protected from the evil one, that they may find a home in the loving Heart of Jesus. We pray for those young people being Confirmed, receiving first Holy Communion and participating in their first Sacrament of Reconciliation. 

Pray for vocations to the Priesthood and the Religious Life

Pray for the soul of Julia Gallagher. May she Rest in Peace. Pray for comfort for Steve and the family.

Pray for those newly baptised and received into the Church this Easter. 

Pray for healing for Marie Bedingfield, Gina Hardy, Jeff Shore, Owen McEneaney, Barry Lamb, Reese, Rosie, Charlotte, Tony, Joan, Sandy, Anthony, Peter, Mia, Jackie, Nathan, Jessica, Alan Guile, David, Derek Malcolm, Hollie, and Harlan Moon.

Pray for all who are grieving give them strength, consolation and healing.

Pray for our Priests and for vocations to the Priesthood.

Pray for lost souls.

Pray for the conversion of the World.

Lord we continue to pray for Peace in Ukraine and throughout the World.

Lord we pray for persecuted Christians throughout the World.

Lord we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all peoples and nations.

Pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory may they be granted eternal rest.

Mary, Mother of God, Theotokos, pray for us.
Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Mary, Bride of the Spirit, pray for us.

Theotokos Prayer Group 2023 - Seventh Sunday of Easter - 21 May 2023

 

Gospel    John 17:1-11 

Father, it is time for you to glorify me

Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and said:
‘Father, the hour has come:
glorify your Son
so that your Son may glorify you;
and, through the power over all mankind that you have given him,
let him give eternal life to all those you have entrusted to him.
And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
I have glorified you on earth
and finished the work that you gave me to do.
Now, Father, it is time for you to glorify me
with that glory I had with you
before ever the world was.
I have made your name known
to the men you took from the world to give me.
They were yours and you gave them to me,
and they have kept your word.
Now at last they know
that all you have given me comes indeed from you;
for I have given them the teaching you gave to me,
and they have truly accepted this, that I came from you,
and have believed that it was you who sent me.
I pray for them;
I am not praying for the world
but for those you have given me,
because they belong to you:
all I have is yours
and all you have is mine,
and in them I am glorified.
I am not in the world any longer,
but they are in the world,
and I am coming to you.’

I will not leave you orphans, says the Lord;
I will come back to you,

Picture of Jesus on the Cross. A great light surrounds the Cross and is so blinding we can’t look at it, The Cross disappears and the light becomes more gentle and from its midst comes Jesus, with His arms outstretched in welcome.
"My people,  come to Me and bring your burdens and I will soothe you, I will love you and I will anoint you afresh, for you TRULY are Sons and Daughters of the Most High.
You are Mine, and as I Am in you so you are in Me. Come to Me and I will touch you each individually, for I know your needs and the desires of your hearts, I love you, yes I love you and I will never leave you orphan for you are at the centre of My Sacred Heart, and in My Sacred Heart lies Love personified. You are Mine and I say to each personally I love you, and My Heart aches with love of you, My child come be with Me and so lessen the coldness I feel and the ache I feel for souls who ignore Me, Ah My Poor Heart is aflame with love of them and they turn away, love Me My people and the flames of My love will surround you and penetrate you, bringing Peace, Love and Joy.

Theotokos Prayer Group 2023 - Sixth Sunday of Easter - 14 May 2023

 

Gospel    John 14:15-21 

I shall ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate

Jesus said to his disciples:
‘If you love me you will keep my commandments.
I shall ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate
to be with you for ever,
that Spirit of truth
whom the world can never receive
since it neither sees nor knows him;
but you know him,
because he is with you, he is in you.
I will not leave you orphans;
I will come back to you.
In a short time the world will no longer see me;
but you will see me,
because I live and you will live.
On that day you will understand that I am in my Father
and you in me and I in you.
Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them
will be one who loves me;
and anybody who loves me will be loved by my Father,
and I shall love him and show myself to him.’

Lord send you Holy Spirit of Truth as our guide and our comforter.

A picture of Our Lord as a Shepherd, Jesus is leading His flock to high ground and safety. His Sacred Heart hears the cry of one of His own a little lamb in distress. Jesus takes a lamp as it is dark and goes looking for it, he finds it bleating in distress, it’s foot caught in a snare, Jesus uses his crook and frees the animal from the snare and carries it home to the Sheepfold.

"My dear little children, once again I ask you to make sacrifice and pray for the little ones, My adversary ensnares their poor little minds and bodies hoping to claim them as his own. My dear ones with the aid of your prayers my Son Jesus will not allow this as His Merciful Heart will flow and the little ones will call upon Him and He will respond immediately for my Son is all Mercy and all Love. Now is the time to place your prayers like a hedge around the young and I will magnify them before the Father and the Holy Spirit will move in ways never heard of.
I Bless you with my Maternal Blessing in Jesus’ name.

Theotokos Prayer Group 2023 - Fifth Sunday of Easter - 7 May 2023

 

Gospel - John 14:1-12

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life

Jesus said to his disciples:
‘Do not let your hearts be troubled.
Trust in God still, and trust in me.
There are many rooms in my Father’s house;
if there were not, I should have told you.
I am going now to prepare a place for you,
and after I have gone and prepared you a place,
I shall return to take you with me;
so that where I am
you may be too.
You know the way to the place where I am going.’
Thomas said, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus said:
‘I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.
No one can come to the Father except through me.
If you know me, you know my Father too.
From this moment you know him and have seen him.’
Philip said, ‘Lord, let us see the Father and then we shall be satisfied.’ ‘Have I been with you all this time, Philip,’ said Jesus to him ‘and you still do not know me?
‘To have seen me is to have seen the Father,
so how can you say, “Let us see the Father”?
Do you not believe
that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
The words I say to you I do not speak as from myself:
it is the Father, living in me, who is doing this work.
You must believe me when I say
that I am in the Father and the Father is in me;
believe it on the evidence of this work, if for no other reason.
I tell you most solemnly,
whoever believes in me
will perform the same works as I do myself,
he will perform even greater works,
because I am going to the Father.’

Lord help us follow you as the Way.

Lord help us know you as the Truth.

Lord help us live in Your Life.

Notes from Meeting on 2 May 2023

Picture of a small lamb trying to keep up with the flock, the lamb seems to be on its own with no mother, it is bruised, tired and nearly at the end of its strength. 

As the flock enters the sheep fold and meets Jesus, He immediately searches out the little lamb and Jesus pours water on his bruised body, binding the bruises where necessary. Jesus sits down and takes the little lamb on His lap and comforts him holding him close to His Heart, Jesus speaks comforting Words so the little lamb feels secure, loved and comfortable and falls into a deep healing sleep.

"My dear little children,
I urge you to be like my Son Jesus and look out for the young and little ones, watch over them be vigilant and protect them with your prayers, but most of all love them.
Help them with wise words, pointing always to my Son Jesus. My adversary tries to lure these little innocents to cause them harm and so pull them away from my Son.
You my children have real power to deflect this onslaught with prayer, fasting and sacrifice. I ask each of you to align your prayers to the Holy Spirit and place them into the Will of the Father most High and I will magnify your prayers before them, together we will not only counter my adversary, but bring the little ones to Jesus into safe haven, for His Thirst for them makes Him delirious.
I am with you in all your prayers, sacrifices and fasting,
together we will help bring to my Son all the little souls.
