Matthew 22:15-21
Give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar
The Pharisees went away to work out between them how to trap Jesus in what he said. And they sent their disciples to him, together with the Herodians, to say, ‘Master, we know that you are an honest man and teach the way of God in an honest way, and that you are not afraid of anyone, because a man’s rank means nothing to you. Tell us your opinion, then. Is it permissible to pay taxes to Caesar or not?’ But Jesus was aware of their malice and replied, ‘You hypocrites! Why do you set this trap for me? Let me see the money you pay the tax with.’ They handed him a denarius, and he said, ‘Whose head is this? Whose name?’ ‘Caesar’s’ they replied. He then said to them, ‘Very well, give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar – and to God what belongs to God.’
Lord help us to offer ourselves to You as a living sacrifice, help us give you Praise and Worship.
Help us serve you and our brothers and sisters.

Pray for our young people that they may be protected from the evil one, that they may find a home in the loving Heart of Jesus.
Pray for healing for Fr John Cooper in hospital for a hip replacement, Pauline with cancer and on her end of life journey, John Joynes, Vanessa, Cathy, Matthew, Gina Hardy, Jeff Shore, Owen McEneaney, Reese, Rosie, Tony, Joan, Sandy, Jackie, Nathan, Jessica, Alan Guile, David, Derek, Malcolm, Hollie, and Harlan Moon.

Lord we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all peoples and nations.
Pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory may they be granted eternal rest.
Mary, Mother of God, Theotokos, pray for us.
Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Mary, Bride of the Spirit, pray for us.

Gospel: Matthew 22:1-14
Invite everyone you can to the wedding
Jesus began to speak to the chief priests and elders of the people in parables: ‘The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a feast for his son’s wedding. He sent his servants to call those who had been invited, but they would not come. Next he sent some more servants. “Tell those who have been invited” he said “that I have my banquet all prepared, my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, everything is ready. Come to the wedding.” But they were not interested: one went off to his farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his servants, maltreated them and killed them. The king was furious. He despatched his troops, destroyed those murderers and burnt their town. Then he said to his servants, “The wedding is ready; but as those who were invited proved to be unworthy, go to the crossroads in the town and invite everyone you can find to the wedding.” So these servants went out on to the roads and collected together everyone they could find, bad and good alike; and the wedding hall was filled with guests. When the king came in to look at the guests he noticed one man who was not wearing a wedding garment, and said to him, “How did you get in here, my friend, without a wedding garment?” And the man was silent. Then the king said to the attendants, “Bind him hand and foot and throw him out into the dark, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.” For many are called, but few are chosen.’

"My People My Word enlightens your minds, your hearts and your very souls.

My People I Am the Word and you are My Body which I feed and nurture.
My People I love you, so much so, that I suffered and died for each of you.
I ask you with My bruised and loving Heart turn to Me, listen to Me, I ask that you try to do My Will and with the aid of the Holy Spirit you will receive from My Heart the warmth of My light and the water to keep your spiritual life alive.
Read My Word, live it, act on it, for My Word is real food for your soul.
My People I love you so, do not abandon Me or My Word!

8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you
Mighty God, Father, Son and Spirit keep us faithful to You.
Open our hearts and minds to the living Word of the Scriptures.
Keep us faithful to your commands and ever hopeful of your promises.
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, confirm us in your Truth. Amen

Matthew 21:33-43
This is the landlord's heir: come, let us kill him
Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders of the people, ‘Listen to another parable. There was a man, a landowner, who planted a vineyard; he fenced it round, dug a winepress in it and built a tower; then he leased it to tenants and went abroad. When vintage time drew near he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his produce. But the tenants seized his servants, thrashed one, killed another and stoned a third. Next he sent some more servants, this time a larger number, and they dealt with them in the same way. Finally he sent his son to them. “They will respect my son” he said. But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, “This is the heir. Come on, let us kill him and take over his inheritance.” So they seized him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?’ They answered, ‘He will bring those wretches to a wretched end and lease the vineyard to other tenants who will deliver the produce to him when the season arrives.’ Jesus said to them, ‘Have you never read in the scriptures:
It was the stone rejected by the builders
that became the keystone.
This was the Lord’s doing
and it is wonderful to see?
‘I tell you, then, that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.’
Lord may we produce fruit for the Kingdom.

Ephesians 4 v 17- 32
The Old Life and the New
17 Now this I affirm and insist on in the Lord: you must no longer live as the Gentiles live, in the futility of their minds. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of their ignorance and hardness of heart. 19 They have lost all sensitivity and have abandoned themselves to licentiousness, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. 20 That is not the way you learned Christ! 21 For surely you have heard about him and were taught in him, as truth is in Jesus. 22 You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Rules for the New Life
25 So then, putting away falsehood, let all of us speak the truth to our neighbours, for we are members of one another. 26 Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and do not make room for the devil. 28 Thieves must give up stealing; rather let them labour and work honestly with their own hands, so as to have something to share with the needy. 29 Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption. 31 Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice, 32 and be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
Lord lead us from darkness into your Light and Truth.
Lord redeem us, forgive us, fill us with your Holy Spirit.
Help us love you and love one another. Amen

October - Month of the Holy Rosary

If anyone loves me he will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we shall come to him.

Gospel: Matthew 21:28-32
Tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you
Jesus said to the chief priests and elders of the people, ‘What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He went and said to the first, “My boy, you go and work in the vineyard today.” He answered, “I will not go,” but afterwards thought better of it and went. The man then went and said the same thing to the second who answered, “Certainly, sir,” but did not go. Which of the two did the father’s will?’ ‘The first’ they said. Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you solemnly, tax collectors and prostitutes are making their way into the kingdom of God before you. For John came to you, a pattern of true righteousness, but you did not believe him, and yet the tax collectors and prostitutes did. Even after seeing that, you refused to think better of it and believe in him.’
Notes from meeting 26 October 2023
A picture of Jesus on top of high mountain, He is calling His sheep to safety.
At the base of the mountain and as far as the eye can see are sheep milling about, but at the call of His Voice they immediately start to come toward the mountain.
The sheep cannot find a safe path and because of the darkness fear overcomes them. Then all of a sudden all the Saints, Martyrs and Angels, in fact all the Holy One’s from Heaven form a corridor of light by lining up in two lines from the top of the mountain to the base, and so the sheep move towards the light and onto the path with the Holy Ones encouraging them on either side!
At the very base of the mountain are Our Blessed Mother and St Pio who do not leave until the last sheep is safe.

Come to the refuge of my Son’s Heart, here you will find security and love, keep your eyes fixed on Him, do not look right or left at all that is going on to distract you, My adversary tries to lure you away from the path to Heaven, but all of Heaven at this time is set to aid you and guide you, pray with the heart my little ones, your Mother is here to help and guide you to Jesus, He Who is Constant Love, listen to His Voice and ignore false voices! I am with you and cover you with my Motherly Mantle, all will be well!

I cover all hesitancy and shame with the courage of my love (The Cross) .
Let your faces not be abashed.
Psalm 34 v5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered in shame
Jesus' love and his sacrifice on the Cross take away our shame. We should not be hesitant in looking to Him for with Him is mercy and love.
