Psalm 15(16):1-2,5,7-11 ©
O Lord, it is you who are my portion.
Preserve me, God, I take refuge in you.
I say to the Lord: ‘You are my God.
O Lord, it is you who are my portion and cup;
it is you yourself who are my prize.’
O Lord, it is you who are my portion.
I will bless the Lord who gives me counsel,
who even at night directs my heart.
I keep the Lord ever in my sight:
since he is at my right hand, I shall stand firm.
O Lord, it is you who are my portion.
And so my heart rejoices, my soul is glad;
even my body shall rest in safety.
For you will not leave my soul among the dead,
nor let your beloved know decay.
O Lord, it is you who are my portion.
You will show me the path of life,
the fullness of joy in your presence,
at your right hand happiness for ever.
O Lord, it is you who are my portion.

Exodus 3 v 1 -6
The Burning Bush
3 Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” 4 When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” 5 Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” 6 And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus on fire for us.
O pierced and open Heart of Jesus you call us to yourself.
Although your Heart is indeed Holy Ground, unlike at the Burning Bush you say "Come near".
"Come to My Sacred Heart 's burning fire of love, compassion and Mercy that will bring you healing, wholeness and salvation."
Intercessions
Thank you Lord for the gift of your Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of May.
Pray for healing for Jessica, Nathan and Malcolm. Thank the Lord for Francesca who is recovering.
Pray for the repose of the soul of Paul Joynes, may he Rest in Peace.
Grant Wisdom, Discernment and Proclamation of the Word to Pat.
Pray for all who are grieving give them strength, consolation and healing.
Pray for our Priests and for vocations to the Priesthood.
Pray for the conversion of the World.
Lord we continue to pray for Peace in Ukraine.
Lord we pray for persecuted Christians throughout the World.
Lord we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all peoples and nations.
Mary, Mother of God, Theotokos, pray for us.
Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Mary, Bride of the Spirit, pray for us.
