GOSPEL extract Luke 1:46-55
And Mary said:
‘My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit exults in God my saviour;
because he has looked upon his lowly handmaid.
Yes, from this day forward all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his mercy reaches from age to age for those who fear him.
He has shown the power of his arm,
he has routed the proud of heart.
He has pulled down princes from their thrones and exalted the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things, the rich sent empty away.
He has come to the help of Israel his servant, mindful of his mercy
– according to the promise he made to our ancestors –
of his mercy to Abraham and to his descendants for ever.’
Reflection
In the light of the Assumption of Mary, it is easy to pray her Magnificat (Luke 1:46–55) with new meaning. In her glory she proclaims the greatness of the Lord and finds joy in God her saviour. God has done marvels to her and she leads others to recognize God’s holiness. She is the lowly handmaid who deeply reverenced her God and has been raised to the heights. From her position of strength she will help the lowly and the poor find justice on earth, and she will challenge the rich and powerful to distrust wealth and power as a source of happiness.
Prayer
Almighty ever-living God, who assumed the Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of your Son, body and soul into heavenly glory, grant we pray, that, always attentive to the things that are above, we may merit to be sharers of her glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Our Blessed Mother Mary bathed in pale light like Moonbeams, she is rising up to meet her Son Jesus who is covered in a bright penetrating light, as they meet the two lights merge and meld as do their two Hearts in complete Joy and Bliss, the Mother beholds her Son and the Son beholds His Mother never to part again.
"My dear children
My Heart is full of Love, my dear ones, just as Jesus and I will never be parted, so too will this be for each of you when you reach Heaven. No more tears or striving just Eternal Bliss in my Son’s presence, No more sorrow for loved ones as we shall all eat at the same Banquet of the Lord!
So rejoice and be glad and do not worry about the things of the Earth, but set your minds on the treasure of Heaven, I your Mother will guide you to my Son Jesus. Just do all that he asks of you, pray for your families, poor souls and my Priest sons, partake as often as you can of the Holy sacraments and follow closely the Father’s Commandments.
I will help when you fear you may fail and always lead you back to my Son, do not listen to the lie of my adversary that if you sin you are lost, No instead turn to the Loving Mercy of my Son, He will always reach out to forgive you because He is Love and His Love eagerly awaits to forgive.
My Child I speak to each of you as my beloved child.
