Gospel
Matthew 5:1-12a
How happy are the poor in spirit
Seeing the crowds, Jesus went up the hill. There he sat down and was joined by his disciples. Then he began to speak. This is what he taught them:
‘How happy are the poor in spirit;
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Happy the gentle:
they shall have the earth for their heritage.
Happy those who mourn:
they shall be comforted.
Happy those who hunger and thirst for what is right:
they shall be satisfied.
Happy the merciful:
they shall have mercy shown them.
Happy the pure in heart:
they shall see God.
Happy the peacemakers:
they shall be called sons of God.
Happy those who are persecuted in the cause of right:
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
‘Happy are you when people abuse you and persecute you and speak all kinds of calumny against you on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.’
Psalm 31
6 Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your steadfast love.
17 Do not let me be put to shame, O Lord,
for I call on you;
Lord Jesus may we be poor in spirit, gentle, comforted, satisfied, merciful, pure and peaceful living in Your Kingdom.
Notes from Meeting on 24 January 2023
Come to the water to be refreshed.
Ezekiel 47 v 1 -12
12 On the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”
Picture
Picture of Our Lord dressed in white garment He is showing us the hole in His Hand made by the nailing on the Cross, as we look at His Hand the hole enlarges till we can see pure light emanating from it.
Looking through His wound is as though we are looking through a key hole, Jesus invites us to look deeper and as we do we enter through the hole into a green and verdant land with a large waterfall dropping into a large clear lake with many fish of many colours, the water looks crystalline and smells of Heavenly freshness, the green vegetation is dotted with a myriad of fruits and beautiful coloured leaves, the sky is full of light and invigorates the soul of each person looking and breathing in the air of this place, the perfume of the many flowers enhances the senses and makes each person feel totally alive.
"My Dear Children,
Through the Wounds of my Son Jesus you are each set Free, His Body His Blood lead you ever forward on the path to Heaven, where there will be no more hunger, no more tears, no more pain, no more separation, so I urge each of you not to feel dispirited but to lift all problems in prayer to the Holy Spirit believing in Faith that all prayers will be answered.
My little ones if you only knew of the great Love Joy and Peace won for you by my Son Jesus that you will experience in your new Heavenly Home, you would weep with Joy.
I call you to prayer for the Church and my Priest Sons , your families, poor souls who do not know my Son and are in great need. Pray with Faith my little ones and I will magnify your prayers before the Father and this will cause the Holy Spirit to act in ways that will be fruitful. Have Faith and know that I your Mother stand with you and protect you under my Mantle.
I Bless you in the Name of Jesus my Son.
Mary"
