Glory to you, O Christ, you are the Word of God!
Whoever serves me must follow me, says the Lord;
and where I am, there also will my servant be.
Glory to you, O Christ, you are the Word of God!
Gospel: John 12:20-33
If a grain of wheat falls on the ground and dies, it yields a rich harvest
Among those who went up to worship at the festival were some Greeks. These approached Philip, who came from Bethsaida in Galilee, and put this request to him, ‘Sir, we should like to see Jesus.’ Philip went to tell Andrew, and Andrew and Philip together went to tell Jesus. Jesus replied to them:
‘Now the hour has come
for the Son of Man to be glorified.
I tell you, most solemnly,
unless a wheat grain falls on the ground and dies,
it remains only a single grain;
but if it dies,
it yields a rich harvest.
Anyone who loves his life loses it;
anyone who hates his life in this world
will keep it for the eternal life.
If a man serves me, he must follow me,
wherever I am, my servant will be there too.
If anyone serves me, my Father will honour him.
Now my soul is troubled.
What shall I say:
Father, save me from this hour?
But it was for this very reason that I have come to this hour.
Father, glorify your name!’
A voice came from heaven, ‘I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.’ People standing by, who heard this, said it was a clap of thunder; others said, ‘It was an angel speaking to him.’ Jesus answered, ‘It was not for my sake that this voice came, but for yours.
‘Now sentence is being passed on this world;
now the prince of this world is to be overthrown.
And when I am lifted up from the earth,
I shall draw all men to myself.’
By these words he indicated the kind of death he would die.
Notes from meeting on 12 March 2024
Picture
Picture of Jesus clothed in a blood soaked white garment, the garment is sticking to every welt on His body. He looks up and sees His Mother she is accompanied by many people. Jesus takes up His Cross. His Mother and the accompanying crowd follow Him, somehow seeing His Mother with us comforts Jesus. Although in great pain He gestures with His Hand to always follow His Mother.
"My dear children,
I am your Mother and I always lead you to my Son.
Come with me on the road to Calvary which is the road to Heaven, accompany my Son and help Him like Simon did. This will give my Son the deepest comfort knowing that your hearts are entwined with His in this Lenten Season.
My little ones together we will carry Souls to Him who carries His Cross to save all from my adversary.
Be bold and be strong in your Faith, love your enemies, PRAY for them and together we will bring them to my Son who suffers so very much.
I Mary will be with you on this road, the Way of The Cross. Love conquers wrong-doing, bring my Son souls with your prayers this will comfort Him.
Mary"
We adore You O Christ and we praise You , because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Matthew 11 v 25- 29
25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
