You are My Beloved

Notes of Praise and Intercession meeting on 31 January 2012

Picture of Jesus full of glory and might. His face shone like the sun. His look was of might and justice but also of calmness, kindness and love.
Each of us in the group stood before him one at a time and as each one looked into his eyes we could see ourselves mirrored in them.
His heart seemed  to beat faster and echoed our own, each person felt such longing that bitter sweet agony when love feels as though it is un-returned fully aching for sweet relief. His heart beats even faster throbbing till our being especially our hearts reverberate with all his love and so at last we feel something of the love he feels for cold hearted mankind. We need to feel this bitter sweet agony of love to equip us in his fight for souls.
As we look deeper into his eyes we feel his heart's love for us and the know that we are truly loved as no other. He knows us through and through. He has not brought us this far to just turn away from us, no, we are his.
We are his heart, his eyes, we are his people, his beloved and as we look upon the lost souls we through his heart and his eyes will see the mirror image of himself. These lost souls are His. He needs us to mirror him in everything to win these souls back for life in the Kingdom.

This is a bitter sweet requirement with much pain but this group will perform wonders through Him.

"You are My Beloved"

2 Timothy 4 v 1-5
1 From Paul, apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God in accordance with his promise of life in Christ Jesus,
2 to Timothy, dear son of mine. Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Night and day I thank God whom I serve with a pure conscience as my ancestors did. I remember you in my prayers constantly night and day;
4 I remember your tears and long to see you again to complete my joy.
5 I also remember your sincere faith, a faith which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and I am sure dwells also in you.

The people that lived in darkness have seen a great light on those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned

Picture of Jesus at the Transfiguration bathed in light opening his arms for us, reaching out to us with his love. We were before him together with the Apostles, we are ordinary people just like they were.

Sense that in our praise we were pulling in the nets or a rope to save people .
