Thank you Jesus

Notes from Mass on 20 January 2015 in thanksgiving for 25 years of Theotokos Prayer Group

Mass readings:

Hebrews 6 v 10-20
Psalm 111 v 1-2, 4-5, 9-10
Mark 2 v 23-28

Picture of a huge light which was behind, inside and all around Jesus, As people prayed the light seemed to be mirrored in little pockets all around the world. As we praised the light got more intense. The light seemed to be part of the Heavenly Light and that light drew others to come to the Light, others saw that light in the praying and praising people and so were drawn to the bigger Light, Jesus himself.
Many people who were in darkness came into the Light and it was as though a huge burden had been lifted from them. They too mirrored the Light of Christ.

Come to the water.
Stand by my side.
I know you are weary you won't be denied.
I've felt every teardrop when in darkness you cried.
I strove to remind you for those tears I died.

Be with Me, Pray with Me, Watch with Me

Notes from meeting on 6 November 2012

Picture of a large Mirror.
Each person in this group was asked to go and sit in front of it and then to go back to the group.
When we each looked at ourselves we could see, just that, ourselves.
When back in the group we were all asked to spend time praying for the world in front of the Cross of Jesus. Our Mother accompanied us.
We were then asked if once again one at a time in front of the Mirror reflected there was the face of Jesus it was as though we had become like Him, resembling His qualities, His gifts, His fruits and all from spending time with Him and His Mother before His Cross.
Jesus said "Don't worry about your needs they are taken care of. Pray for the fulfilment of God's Promise, this is being accomplished even as we speak and pray together. My faithful ones will truly see the Glory of Heaven. Be with Me, Pray with Me, Watch with Me.

Ephesians 1 v 17-23
17 May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him.
18 May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, how rich is the glory of the heritage he offers among his holy people,
19 and how extraordinarily great is the power that he has exercised for us believers; this accords with the strength of his power
20 at work in Christ, the power which he exercised in raising him from the dead and enthroning him at his right hand, in heaven,
21 far above every principality, ruling force, power or sovereignty, or any other name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.
22 He has put all things under his feet, and made him, as he is above all things, the head of the Church;
23 which is his Body, the fullness of him who is filled, all in all.

Where is your faith... Use the gifts I have given you, use the faith I have given you...
Go out and do the work I have commissioned you to do

Receive the gifts and fruits of the Spirit

My deliverer is my God

Notes of Praise & Intercession Night 30 October 2012

Picture of all of us in the group in what appeared to be some form of rock garden. We were all asleep.
Gradually we became aware of a plaintive song that issued from the Mother of Jesus. The music got louder and more urgent. Beings of Light came and shook us to waken us from our slumber. This music was melodic and we understood with our hearts not our ears. the music seemed to say be quick for there is work to be done.
The angels and Our Mother started to praise God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We obediently followed and praised and worshipped too. We could see the Earth and a great light moved across it, within the light was the Blessed Sacrament bleeding. It hovered over a very dark area.
People in that dark area were drawn upwards into the light away from the darkness. Gradually as the praise abated and became quiet the light moved back in to the heavens with the Blessed Sacrament. Our Lady and the angels still quietly praising till they disappeared.
Our Mother smiled at us and blessed us and we somehow knew in our hearts we had helped as a whole body to accomplish some plan of the Heavenly Fathers.

1 Corinthians 15 v 54 - 58
54 And after this perishable nature has put on imperishability and this mortal nature has put on immortality, then will the words of scripture come true: Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin comes from the Law.
57 Thank God, then, for giving us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.
58 So, my dear brothers, keep firm and immovable, always abounding in energy for the Lord's work, being sure that in the Lord none of your labours is wasted.

Pray for the persecuted Church.

Deep calls to deep; heart calls to heart.

Psalm 18 v 1 - 3
1 [For the choirmaster Of David, the servant of Yahweh, who addressed the words of this song to Yahweh when Yahweh had delivered him from all his enemies and from the clutches of Saul. He said:] I love you, Yahweh, my strength (my Saviour, you have saved me from violence).
2 Yahweh is my rock and my fortress, my deliverer is my God. I take refuge in him, my rock, my shield, my saving strength, my stronghold, my place of refuge.
3 I call to Yahweh who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my foes.

Rocking the unborn children deprived of a childhood.

1 Corinthians 3 v 16 - 23
16 Do you not realise that you are a temple of God with the Spirit of God living in you?
17 If anybody should destroy the temple of God, God will destroy that person, because God's temple is holy; and you are that temple.
18 There is no room for self-delusion. Any one of you who thinks he is wise by worldly standards must learn to be a fool in order to be really wise.
19 For the wisdom of the world is folly to God. As scripture says: He traps the crafty in the snare of their own cunning
20 and again: The Lord knows the plans of the wise and how insipid they are.
21 So there is to be no boasting about human beings: everything belongs to you,
22 whether it is Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, the world, life or death, the present or the future -- all belong to you;
23 but you belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God.

Mary lead us to Jesus' Sacred Heart

Notes of meeting on 18 September 2012

Picture of Our Lady beckoning us to her Immaculate Heart. As we gazed upon her Heart she filled us and surrounded us with her grace.
She said "I will always lead you to my Son's Sacred Heart because it is the will of the Father in Heaven".
Our Lady moved to one side and there was Jesus, his Heart exposed calling us to come closer. As we neared Him we could see right into his Heart and feel the love and mercy for each of us. As we looked further in we could see a jagged cross enmeshed cruelly in the depths of his Heart. This cross was the terrible pain of being parted from the mankind who ignored and repulsed his great love.

It was felt that Our Lady was asking us again to redouble our efforts of prayer, fasting and good works to bring comfort to her Son by plucking men from the abyss of sin and to the Mercy of God through her Son Jesus

Hebrews 2 v 9-10
9 but we do see Jesus, who was for a short while made less than the angels, now crowned with glory and honour because he submitted to death; so that by God's grace his experience of death should benefit all humanity.

10 It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should, in bringing many sons to glory, make perfect through suffering the leader of their salvation.

Galatians 3 v 1 -14
1 You stupid people in Galatia! After you have had a clear picture of Jesus Christ crucified, right in front of your eyes, who has put a spell on you?
2 There is only one thing I should like you to tell me: How was it that you received the Spirit -- was it by the practice of the Law, or by believing in the message you heard?
3 Having begun in the Spirit, can you be so stupid as to end in the flesh?
4 Can all the favours you have received have had no effect at all -- if there really has been no effect?
5 Would you say, then, that he who so lavishly sends the Spirit to you, and causes the miracles among you, is doing this through your practice of the Law or because you believed the message you heard?
6 Abraham, you remember, put his faith in God, and this was reckoned to him as uprightness.
7 Be sure, then, that it is people of faith who are the children of Abraham.
8 And it was because scripture foresaw that God would give saving justice to the gentiles through faith, that it announced the future gospel to Abraham in the words: All nations will be blessed in you.
9 So it is people of faith who receive the same blessing as Abraham, the man of faith.
10 On the other hand, all those who depend on the works of the Law are under a curse, since scripture says: Accursed be he who does not make what is written in the book of the Law effective, by putting it into practice.
11 Now it is obvious that nobody is reckoned as upright in God's sight by the Law, since the upright will live through faith;
12 and the Law is based not on faith but on the principle, whoever complies with it will find life in it.
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by being cursed for our sake since scripture says: Anyone hanged is accursed,
14 so that the blessing of Abraham might come to the gentiles in Christ Jesus, and so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Daily Reflection from Bible Alive, Tuesday 18 September

Luke 7:11-17

What an explosion of joy there must have been when Jesus raised the young man of Nain from death and gave him back to his mother! How amazed this widow must have been when she realized that her dead son was alive again and talking to her! Luke tells us that the crowd was awestruck and filled the air with God’s praises.
This powerful miracle fills our hearts with joy also, for it proclaims the wonderful truth that Jesus is the Lord of life, with the power to overcome death. It reveals him as the tender-hearted and compassionate Son of God. The crowd are absolutely correct in their exclamation: ‘God has visited his people!’ (v. 16).
With Jesus’ coming, the kingdom of God breaks into our world. The power of Satan’s kingdom, that has held men and women bound in sin since the Fall, is broken. The marks of Satan’s kingdom are well known to us: sin, strife, suffering and, most of all, death. Jesus came with the purpose of undoing all the works of the devil and setting free all who had fallen under his power. The raising of this dead man highlights the fact that God is acting among his people in a radically new and powerful way.
This sounds tremendous good news, but how can we relate it to our daily lives? There is a sense in which each of us is like the young man being carried out to burial. We are, to some degree, dead. Sin has ravaged us and taken its toll. Perhaps we have stopped praying or no longer open the Scriptures. Perhaps we cannot share what God has done for us, and we are silent about Jesus. Maybe we have lost the ability to show love and compassion. In each of these situations, Jesus can come and touch us in our deadness. When we turn to him with faith and humbly repent of our sin, he can raise us up with his resurrection life.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb. 13:8). His power is as real today as it was on that day in Nain. His care and love are as strong towards us as to the widow and her son.

Father, we thank you that your Son has the power to set us free from death and fill us with the new life of the Spirit. Come, Lord Jesus, and take possession of our lives today.

Called to serve

Notes of Meeting 14 August 2012

Picture of Our Lady we had all arrived at her house she led us to a cool courtyard where vines kept the heat of the day out. She put out soft towels and fresh cool water to refresh and cleanse ourselves with. She went off and returned with plates of grapes, figs, bread and cheese. She asked us to sit down and share her meal with her. She said grace thanking the Father for the food and for us and as she finished Jesus came and sat with us.
There was much laughter, good will and love around the table each sharing his company no one trying to be the best or anything like that. Jesus was very happy. Mary started to clear away and she would have no help but told us to listen to Jesus.
Jesus then said he would speak a private special word with each person present and all of us eagerly waited for his or her turn. Each person returned to the courtyard filled, anointed, happy and blissful brimming with his words, aching with his love and wanting to impart this wonderful feeling with others.

I felt Our Lady who shared her simple feast with us was in fact telling us to do the same! We have a feast of blessings and gifts which others need to meet Jesus personally as we have. We have these blessing and gifts by the grace of God and we need to lead others to this encounter of grace with God.

Matthew 20 v 25-28
25 But Jesus called them to him and said, 'You know that among the gentiles the rulers lord it over them, and great men make their authority felt.
26 Among you this is not to happen. No; anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant,
27 and anyone who wants to be first among you must be your slave,
28 just as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'

Luke 13 v 18-30
18 He went on to say, 'What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it with?
19 It is like a mustard seed which a man took and threw into his garden: it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air sheltered in its branches.'
20 Again he said, 'What shall I compare the kingdom of God with?
21 It is like the yeast a woman took and mixed in with three measures of flour till it was leavened all through.'
22 Through towns and villages he went teaching, making his way to Jerusalem.
23 Someone said to him, 'Sir, will there be only a few saved?' He said to them,
24 'Try your hardest to enter by the narrow door, because, I tell you, many will try to enter and will not succeed.
25 'Once the master of the house has got up and locked the door, you may find yourself standing outside knocking on the door, saying, "Lord, open to us," but he will answer, "I do not know where you come from."
26 Then you will start saying, "We once ate and drank in your company; you taught in our streets,"
27 but he will reply, "I do not know where you come from; away from me, all evil doers!"
28 'Then there will be weeping and grinding of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrown out.
29 And people from east and west, from north and south, will come and sit down at the feast in the kingdom of God.
30 'Look, there are those now last who will be first, and those now first who will be last.'

Matthew 11 v 2 -6
2 Now John had heard in prison what Christ was doing and he sent his disciples to ask him,
3 'Are you the one who is to come, or are we to expect someone else?'
4 Jesus answered, 'Go back and tell John what you hear and see;
5 the blind see again, and the lame walk, those suffering from virulent skin-diseases are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life and the good news is proclaimed to the poor;
6 and blessed is anyone who does not find me a cause of falling.'

I died for you, rose for you, ascended for you.
I want to fill you with My Power.
I desire to fill you with My Spirit.
To fill you with My Love, to fill you with My Mercy, to fill you with My Healing.
My children I love you, how much I love you.

The True Shepherd

Notes from Meeting 24 July 2012

Picture of Jesus in a field with his sheep. All the very young sheep were jumping and gambolling around him as he stroked each one. They loved him and he loved them.
Jesus asked his flock to follow him. The young followed straight away. The older ones were comfortable eating the lush grass and hedges, still most of them complied, some though were stubborn and carried on eating ignoring their masters call to move.
Some even thought they knew better as this seemed good pasture and they ignored his call.
Jesus called a second time and a few more joined him.
In the distance wolves were moving steadily closer toward them.
Jesus called a third time. All the other sheep were safe with Jesus in the sheepfold. The sheep outside the sheepfold realised they were in  great danger and started to panic and tremble.
Jesus came among them and lifted his crook to the wolves, they turned away and slunk off.
Jesus said "Come follow me, none shall harm my own, I lay down my for my own, if you follow me I will lead you to rich pasture, come my beloved flock, heed my call, be with me the true shepherd".

Matthew 9 v 35- 37
35 Jesus made a tour through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing all kinds of disease and all kinds of illness.

36 And when he saw the crowds he felt sorry for them because they were harassed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.
37 Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is rich but the labourers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers to his harvest.'

Hebrews 6 v 1-3
1 Let us leave behind us then all the elementary teaching about Christ and go on to its completion, without going over the fundamental doctrines again: the turning away from dead actions, faith in God,
2 the teaching about baptisms and the laying -- on of hands, about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgement.
3 This, God willing, is what we propose to do.

Our refuge

Notes of meeting on 5 June 2012

Psalm 51
1 You who live in the secret place of Elyon, spend your nights in the shelter of Shaddai,
2 saying to Yahweh, 'My refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust!'
3 He rescues you from the snare of the fowler set on destruction;
4 he covers you with his pinions, you find shelter under his wings. His constancy is shield and protection.
5 You need not fear the terrors of night, the arrow that flies in the daytime,
6 the plague that stalks in the darkness, the scourge that wreaks havoc at high noon.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, you yourself will remain unscathed.
8 You have only to keep your eyes open to see how the wicked are repaid,
9 you who say, 'Yahweh my refuge!' and make Elyon your fortress.
10 No disaster can overtake you, no plague come near your tent;
11 he has given his angels orders about you to guard you wherever you go.
12 They will carry you in their arms in case you trip over a stone.
13 You will walk upon wild beast and adder, you will trample young lions and snakes.
14 'Since he clings to me I rescue him, I raise him high, since he acknowledges my name.
15 He calls to me and I answer him: in distress I am at his side, I rescue him and bring him honour.
16 I shall satisfy him with long life, and grant him to see my salvation.'

Sense of the Lord affirming that He is there for us in all our difficulties and struggles. He is our refuge, our fortress and protector.

1 John 3
1 You must see what great love the Father has lavished on us by letting us be called God's children -- which is what we are! The reason why the world does not acknowledge us is that it did not acknowledge him.

2 My dear friends, we are already God's children, but what we shall be in the future has not yet been revealed. We are well aware that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is.
3 Whoever treasures this hope of him purifies himself, to be as pure as he is.
4 Whoever sins, acts wickedly, because all sin is wickedness.
5 Now you are well aware that he has appeared in order to take sins away, and that in him there is no sin.
6 No one who remains in him sins, and whoever sins has neither seen him nor recognised him.
7 Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Whoever acts uprightly is upright, just as he is upright.
8 Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. This was the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.
9 No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God.
10 This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not from God.
11 This is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we must love one another,
12 not to be like Cain, who was from the Evil One and murdered his brother. And why did he murder his brother? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's upright.
13 Do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.
14 We are well aware that we have passed over from death to life because we love our brothers. Whoever does not love, remains in death.
15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you are well aware that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.
16 This is the proof of love, that he laid down his life for us, and we too ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 If anyone is well-off in worldly possessions and sees his brother in need but closes his heart to him, how can the love of God be remaining in him?
18 Children, our love must be not just words or mere talk, but something active and genuine.
19 This will be the proof that we belong to the truth, and it will convince us in his presence,
20 even if our own feelings condemn us, that God is greater than our feelings and knows all things.
21 My dear friends, if our own feelings do not condemn us, we can be fearless before God,
22 and whatever we ask we shall receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what is acceptable to him.
23 His commandment is this, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and that we should love one another as he commanded us.
24 Whoever keeps his commandments remains in God, and God in him. And this is the proof that he remains in us: the Spirit that he has given us.

I am deluging you with graces

Notes of Praise and Intercession Night 29 May 2012

A picture of Jesus in all His Glory and light. Rolling towards Him came what seemed to be a mass of foaming blackness. In the Heavens above Him there was a huge battle going on; the beings from the darkness were trying to overcome the beings of light; however Jesus stood His ground and all those of light along with Our Mother prayed and praised. The darkness retreated and so to did the foaming blackness. As the sweet praise, music and prayer came to a crescendo I could see distressed people set free from the foaming blackness, it was as though they soared to the light of Heaven and Jesus. These people were drunk with joy to be with Jesus. They knew that it was His doing that they were saved! They looked to the earth to all the people praying and praising in unison with The Master, Jesus and their gratitude rolled out of there mouths in Praise of God.

With the picture were the words “My loyal flock, thank you for co-operating with My Mother and your Mother’s plan. Be still further guided by the Holy Spirit. Glory will come to pass; even now I am deluging you with graces.”

The words deluging you with graces was felt to mean that this was a drenching , soaking and even more a great flood and overwhelming rush of graces.

We need also to put down our umbrellas – the obstacles that prevent us from receiving the full deluging of graces.

Ephesians 3 v 20
Glory be to him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine;

Acts 5 v 17 - 32
17 Then the high priest intervened with all his supporters from the party of the Sadducees. Filled with jealousy,
18 they arrested the apostles and had them put in the public gaol.
19 But at night the angel of the Lord opened the prison gates and said as he led them out,
20 'Go and take up position in the Temple, and tell the people all about this new Life.'
21 They did as they were told; they went into the Temple at dawn and began to preach. When the high priest arrived, he and his supporters convened the Sanhedrin -- this was the full Senate of Israel -- and sent to the gaol for them to be brought.
22 But when the officials arrived at the prison they found they were not inside, so they went back and reported,
23 'We found the gaol securely locked and the warders on duty at the gates, but when we unlocked the door we found no one inside.'
24 When the captain of the Temple and the chief priests heard this news they wondered what could be happening.
25 Then a man arrived with fresh news. 'Look!' he said, 'the men you imprisoned are in the Temple. They are standing there preaching to the people.'
26 The captain went with his men and fetched them -- though not by force, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
27 When they had brought them in to face the Sanhedrin, the high priest demanded an explanation.
28 'We gave you a strong warning', he said, 'not to preach in this name, and what have you done? You have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and seem determined to fix the guilt for this man's death on us.'
29 In reply Peter and the apostles said, 'Obedience to God comes before obedience to men;
30 it was the God of our ancestors who raised up Jesus, whom you executed by hanging on a tree.
31 By his own right hand God has now raised him up to be leader and Saviour, to give repentance and forgiveness of sins through him to Israel.
32 We are witnesses to this, we and the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.'

Jesus The Good Shepherd

Notes of meeting on 1 May 2012

Picture of Jesus the Good Shepherd laying on the hillside with sheep all around Him and laying close against Him.

Picture of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament with people praying before Him. We are to have faith to pray for our children and love ones that they will be close to Him.

Psalm 20
1 May Yahweh answer you in time of trouble, may the name of the God of Jacob protect you!

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary, give you support from Zion!
3 May he remember all your sacrifices and delight in your burnt offerings! Pause
4 May he grant you your heart's desire and crown all your plans with success!
5 So that with joy we can hail your victory and draw up our ranks in the name of our God. May Yahweh grant all your petitions.
6 Now I know that Yahweh gives victory to his anointed. He will respond from his holy heavens with great deeds of victory from his right hand.
7 Some call on chariots, some on horses, but we on the name of Yahweh our God.
8 They will crumple and fall, while we stand upright and firm.
9 Yahweh, save the king, answer us when we call.

Psalm 43
1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who are treacherous and unjust, rescue me.

2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassed by the enemy?
3 Send out your light and your truth; they shall be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to the place where you dwell.
4 Then I shall go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I will rejoice and praise you on the harp, O God, my God.
5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him still, my Saviour, my God.

It is I, I am with you

Notes of Meeting on 17 April 2012

A picture of Jesus exposing His Heart and within His Heart is the Host and within the Host is a cup tipping over pouring out His Precious Blood.
The Blood cascaded down on to a woman at His feet. The Blood washed her clean.
Our Lady accompanied by Angels re-clothed this woman in a white garment.
The woman had been a great sinner but she repented with her whole heart and instantly Jesus covered her with His Blood granting her complete forgiveness. It was as though Jesus' Blood cried out to the Father and the sacrifice of His Holy Blood negated punishment. The white garment seemed to represent the wholeness received in baptism.

The picture gives us hope for ourselves and our loved ones.

Mark 14 v 3 -8
3 He was at Bethany in the house of Simon, a man who had suffered from a virulent skin-disease; he was at table when a woman came in with an alabaster jar of very costly ointment, pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the ointment on his head.

4 Some who were there said to one another indignantly, 'Why this waste of ointment?
5 Ointment like this could have been sold for over three hundred denarii and the money given to the poor'; and they were angry with her.
6 But Jesus said, 'Leave her alone. Why are you upsetting her? What she has done for me is a good work.
7 You have the poor with you always, and you can be kind to them whenever you wish, but you will not always have me.
8 She has done what she could: she has anointed my body beforehand for its burial.

It is I, I am with you.

Rejoice in the Lord.

Darkness and Light

Notes of meeting on 3 April 2012

A picture in two halves:
1. Jesus on the Cross in darkness and sorrow with everyone praying behind the Cross
2. Fields and the sky in brilliant colours and light - the renewal to come.

Romans 8 v 29-30
29 He decided beforehand who were the ones destined to be moulded to the pattern of his Son, so that he should be the eldest of many brothers;

30 it was those so destined that he called; those that he called, he justified, and those that he has justified he has brought into glory.

Romans 9 v 23-26
23 so that he may make known the glorious riches ready for the people who are the instruments of his faithful love and were long ago prepared for that glory.

24 We are that people, called by him not only out of the Jews but out of the gentiles too.
25 Just as he says in the book of Hosea: I shall tell those who were not my people, 'You are my people,' and I shall take pity on those on whom I had no pity.
26 And in the very place where they were told, 'You are not my people,' they will be told that they are 'children of the living God'.

Psalm 142
1 To Yahweh I cry out with my plea. To Yahweh I cry out with entreaty.

2 I pour out my worry in his presence, in his presence I unfold my troubles.
3 However faint my spirit; you are watching over my path. On the road I have to travel they have hidden a trap for me.
4 Look on my right and see -- there is no one who recognises me. All refuge is denied me, no one cares whether I live or die.
5 I cry out to you, Yahweh, I affirm, 'You are my refuge, my share in the land of the living!'
6 Listen to my calling, for I am miserably weak. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.
7 Lead me out of prison that I may praise your name. The upright gather round me because of your generosity to me.

Do not be afraid for I am always with you.
I did not die in vain, my death was a victory over death.
You are my chosen people and those whom I have chosen I am always close to.
Do not worry when you fall for I will pick you up.
I am with you always

Jesus Light of the World

Notes of Praise and Intercession Meeting 27 March 2012

Picture of a large hill on top was Jesus crucified and all about was darkness. His body was beaten, bruised and lifeless. Then his body full of light drew men to his Cross. It was as though  as they were immersed and surrounded by the light it gave to each person a feeling of warmth, peacefulness, strength and wholeness.
Imagine a peaceful quietness when the sun has relaxed you and you are just conscious of being, it is like this only more, a feeling of being at home that you have found what was missing that the Saviour is there enfolding us with his quiet saving love. Nothing else matters for this instant in time each of us is in his presence.
This is what he came to do for each and everyone of us; drawing us to himself. This perfect love is a free gift to all.
As we stand at the of the Cross we remember the first to be there, his Mother Mary who is always in his warmth and light and leading the downcast and strays to her Son Jesus so that they too might feel his presence and love her Son the Light of the World "Emmanuel"

Mathew 27 v 33-53
33 When they had reached a place called Golgotha, that is, the place of the skull,

34 they gave him wine to drink mixed with gall, which he tasted but refused to drink.
35 When they had finished crucifying him they shared out his clothing by casting lots,
36 and then sat down and stayed there keeping guard over him.
37 Above his head was placed the charge against him; it read: 'This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.'
38 Then two bandits were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.
39 The passers-by jeered at him; they shook their heads
40 and said, 'So you would destroy the Temple and in three days rebuild it! Then save yourself if you are God's son and come down from the cross!'
41 The chief priests with the scribes and elders mocked him in the same way,
42 with the words, 'He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the king of Israel; let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him.
43 He has put his trust in God; now let God rescue him if he wants him. For he did say, "I am God's son." '
44 Even the bandits who were crucified with him taunted him in the same way.
45 From the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?' that is, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'
47 When some of those who stood there heard this, they said, 'The man is calling on Elijah,'
48 and one of them quickly ran to get a sponge which he filled with vinegar and, putting it on a reed, gave it him to drink.
49 But the rest of them said, 'Wait! And see if Elijah will come to save him.'
50 But Jesus, again crying out in a loud voice, yielded up his spirit.
51 And suddenly, the veil of the Sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, the rocks were split,
52 the tombs opened and the bodies of many holy people rose from the dead,
53 and these, after his resurrection, came out of the tombs, entered the holy city and appeared to a number of people.

In our Intercessory Praise Jesus can reach into the dark places where people are suffering and in need.

We adore You O Christ and we praise You because by Your Holy Cross You have Redeemed the World

Notes of meeting 13 March 2012

Mary crying for her children, places her mantle around them to comfort them.. It winds around them and also the whole World. She draws all to her pierced heart and to the Cross of Jesus. We are asked to unite our hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and her Immaculate Heart.

We adore You O Christ and we praise You because by Your Holy Cross You have Redeemed the World.

Matthew 26 v 47 - 75
47 And suddenly while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, appeared, and with him a large number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and elders of the people.

48 Now the traitor had arranged a sign with them saying, 'The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him.'
49 So he went up to Jesus at once and said, 'Greetings, Rabbi,' and kissed him.
50 Jesus said to him, 'My friend, do what you are here for.' Then they came forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
51 And suddenly, one of the followers of Jesus grasped his sword and drew it; he struck the high priest's servant and cut off his ear.
52 Jesus then said, 'Put your sword back, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
53 Or do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, who would promptly send more than twelve legions of angels to my defence?
54 But then, how would the scriptures be fulfilled that say this is the way it must be?'
55 It was at this time that Jesus said to the crowds, 'Am I a bandit, that you had to set out to capture me with swords and clubs? I sat teaching in the Temple day after day and you never laid a hand on me.'
56 Now all this happened to fulfil the prophecies in scripture. Then all the disciples deserted him and ran away.
57 The men who had arrested Jesus led him off to the house of Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
58 Peter followed him at a distance right to the high priest's palace, and he went in and sat down with the attendants to see what the end would be.
59 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus, however false, on which they might have him executed.
60 But they could not find any, though several lying witnesses came forward. Eventually two came forward
61 and made a statement, 'This man said, "I have power to destroy the Temple of God and in three days build it up." '
62 The high priest then rose and said to him, 'Have you no answer to that? What is this evidence these men are bringing against you?'
63 But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to him, 'I put you on oath by the living God to tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.'
64 Jesus answered him, 'It is you who say it. But, I tell you that from this time onward you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.'
65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, 'He has blasphemed. What need of witnesses have we now? There! You have just heard the blasphemy.
66 What is your opinion?' They answered, 'He deserves to die.'
67 Then they spat in his face and hit him with their fists; others said as they struck him,
68 'Prophesy to us, Christ! Who hit you then?'
69 Meanwhile Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came up to him saying, 'You, too, were with Jesus the Galilean.'
70 But he denied it in front of them all. 'I do not know what you are talking about,' he said.
71 When he went out to the gateway another servant-girl saw him and said to the people there, 'This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.'
72 And again, with an oath, he denied it, 'I do not know the man.'
73 A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter, 'You are certainly one of them too! Why, your accent gives you away.'
74 Then he started cursing and swearing, 'I do not know the man.' And at once the cock crowed,
75 and Peter remembered what Jesus had said, 'Before the cock crows you will have disowned me three times.' And he went outside and wept bitterly.

Notes of meeting 20 March 2012

As we praised God came a picture as if the roof as off the building where we meet and it was open to the night sky and the Moon and the stars. It was as if we were praising with all the angels and saints in Heaven. A dove flew into the room swooping down over us saying "Thank you My People".

Matthew 5

1 Seeing the crowds, he went onto the mountain. And when he was seated his disciples came to him.
2 Then he began to speak. This is what he taught them:
3 How blessed are the poor in spirit: the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
4 Blessed are the gentle: they shall have the earth as inheritance.
5 Blessed are those who mourn: they shall be comforted.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for uprightness: they shall have their fill.
7 Blessed are the merciful: they shall have mercy shown them.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: they shall be recognised as children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted in the cause of uprightness: the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
11 'Blessed are you when people abuse you and persecute you and speak all kinds of calumny against you falsely on my account.
12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven; this is how they persecuted the prophets before you.

We adore You O Christ and we praise You because by Your Holy Cross You have Redeemed the World.

Matthew 27 v 1 -31
1 When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people met in council to bring about the death of Jesus.

2 They had him bound and led him away to hand him over to Pilate, the governor.
3 When he found that Jesus had been condemned, then Judas, his betrayer, was filled with remorse and took the thirty silver pieces back to the chief priests and elders
4 saying, 'I have sinned. I have betrayed innocent blood.' They replied, 'What is that to us? That is your concern.'
5 And flinging down the silver pieces in the sanctuary he made off, and went and hanged himself.
6 The chief priests picked up the silver pieces and said, 'It is against the Law to put this into the treasury; it is blood-money.'
7 So they discussed the matter and with it bought the potter's field as a graveyard for foreigners,
8 and this is why the field is still called the Field of Blood.
9 The word spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was then fulfilled: And they took the thirty silver pieces, the sum at which the precious One was priced by the children of Israel,
10 and they gave them for the potter's field, just as the Lord directed me.
11 Jesus, then, was brought before the governor, and the governor put to him this question, 'Are you the king of the Jews?' Jesus replied, 'It is you who say it.'
12 But when he was accused by the chief priests and the elders he refused to answer at all.
13 Pilate then said to him, 'Do you not hear how many charges they have made against you?'
14 But to the governor's amazement, he offered not a word in answer to any of the charges.
15 At festival time it was the governor's practice to release a prisoner for the people, anyone they chose.
16 Now there was then a notorious prisoner whose name was Barabbas.
17 So when the crowd gathered, Pilate said to them, 'Which do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?'
18 For Pilate knew it was out of jealousy that they had handed him over.
19 Now as he was seated in the chair of judgement, his wife sent him a message, 'Have nothing to do with that upright man; I have been extremely upset today by a dream that I had about him.'
20 The chief priests and the elders, however, had persuaded the crowd to demand the release of Barabbas and the execution of Jesus.
21 So when the governor spoke and asked them, 'Which of the two do you want me to release for you?' they said, 'Barabbas.'
22 Pilate said to them, 'But in that case, what am I to do with Jesus who is called Christ?' They all said, 'Let him be crucified!'
23 He asked, 'But what harm has he done?' But they shouted all the louder, 'Let him be crucified!'
24 Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, 'I am innocent of this man's blood. It is your concern.'
25 And the people, every one of them, shouted back, 'Let his blood be on us and on our children!'
26 Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.
27 Then the governor's soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him.
28 And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him,
29 and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, 'Hail, king of the Jews!'
30 And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it.
31 And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

Isaiah 53 1 Who has given credence to what we have heard? And who has seen in it a revelation of Yahweh's arm?

2 Like a sapling he grew up before him, like a root in arid ground. He had no form or charm to attract us, no beauty to win our hearts;
3 he was despised, the lowest of men, a man of sorrows, familiar with suffering, one from whom, as it were, we averted our gaze, despised, for whom we had no regard.
4 Yet ours were the sufferings he was bearing, ours the sorrows he was carrying, while we thought of him as someone being punished and struck with affliction by God;
5 whereas he was being wounded for our rebellions, crushed because of our guilt; the punishment reconciling us fell on him, and we have been healed by his bruises.
6 We had all gone astray like sheep, each taking his own way, and Yahweh brought the acts of rebellion of all of us to bear on him.
7 Ill-treated and afflicted, he never opened his mouth, like a lamb led to the slaughter-house, like a sheep dumb before its shearers he never opened his mouth.
8 Forcibly, after sentence, he was taken. Which of his contemporaries was concerned at his having been cut off from the land of the living, at his having been struck dead for his people's rebellion?
9 He was given a grave with the wicked, and his tomb is with the rich, although he had done no violence, had spoken no deceit.
10 It was Yahweh's good pleasure to crush him with pain; if he gives his life as a sin offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his life, and through him Yahweh's good pleasure will be done.
11 After the ordeal he has endured, he will see the light and be content. By his knowledge, the upright one, my servant will justify many by taking their guilt on himself.
12 Hence I shall give him a portion with the many, and he will share the booty with the mighty, for having exposed himself to death and for being counted as one of the rebellious, whereas he was bearing the sin of many and interceding for the rebellious.

Journey with Jesus

Notes of meeting on 6 March 2012

Picture of a tree by a river.
Mary gives to each of us a leaf from the tree on which is written Gods particular word,His will, for us.
We are called to journey with Jesus who will reveal God's word and will to us.

I love you infinitely from the depths of My Sacred Heart.
I want to reach out to you, to call you to be my followers and to be My Body the Church

Matthew 26 v 36-46
36 Then Jesus came with them to a plot of land called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, 'Stay here while I go over there to pray.'
37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him. And he began to feel sadness and anguish.
38 Then he said to them, 'My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here and stay awake with me.'
39 And going on a little further he fell on his face and prayed. 'My Father,' he said, 'if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.'
40 He came back to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, 'So you had not the strength to stay awake with me for one hour?
41 Stay awake, and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.'
42 Again, a second time, he went away and prayed: 'My Father,' he said, 'if this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, your will be done!'
43 And he came back again and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy.
44 Leaving them there, he went away again and prayed for the third time, repeating the same words.
45 Then he came back to the disciples and said to them, 'You can sleep on now and have your rest. Look, the hour has come when the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners.
46 Get up! Let us go! Look, my betrayer is not far away.'

John 15 v18 - 27
18 If the world hates you, you must realise that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you do not belong to the world, because my choice of you has drawn you out of the world, that is why the world hates you.
20 Remember the words I said to you: A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you too; if they kept my word, they will keep yours as well.
21 But it will be on my account that they will do all this to you, because they do not know the one who sent me.
22 If I had not come, if I had not spoken to them, they would have been blameless; but as it is they have no excuse for their sin.
23 Anyone who hates me hates my Father.
24 If I had not performed such works among them as no one else has ever done, they would be blameless; but as it is, in spite of what they have seen, they hate both me and my Father.
25 But all this was only to fulfil the words written in their Law: They hated me without reason.
26 When the Paraclete comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who issues from the Father, he will be my witness.
27 And you too will be witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Set the captives free

Notes of Praise and Intercession Meeting on 28 February 2012

I have come to set the captives free and this is the year of the Lord's favour.

Isaiah 61 v 1 -4

1 The spirit of Lord Yahweh is on me for Yahweh has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the news to the afflicted, to soothe the broken-hearted,
2 to proclaim liberty to captives, release to those in prison, to proclaim a year of favour from Yahweh and a day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn
3 (to give to Zion's mourners), to give them for ashes a garland, for mourning-dress, the oil of gladness, for despondency, festal attire; and they will be called 'terebinths of saving justice', planted by Yahweh to glorify him.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise what has long lain waste, they will restore the ruined cities, all that has lain waste for ages past.

The Lord's grace and favour is with us.
He shows us His Mercy.
Follow my Ways and My Statutes.
Take My Mother as an example.

You are My Beloved

Notes of Praise and Intercession meeting on 31 January 2012

Picture of Jesus full of glory and might. His face shone like the sun. His look was of might and justice but also of calmness, kindness and love.
Each of us in the group stood before him one at a time and as each one looked into his eyes we could see ourselves mirrored in them.
His heart seemed  to beat faster and echoed our own, each person felt such longing that bitter sweet agony when love feels as though it is un-returned fully aching for sweet relief. His heart beats even faster throbbing till our being especially our hearts reverberate with all his love and so at last we feel something of the love he feels for cold hearted mankind. We need to feel this bitter sweet agony of love to equip us in his fight for souls.
As we look deeper into his eyes we feel his heart's love for us and the know that we are truly loved as no other. He knows us through and through. He has not brought us this far to just turn away from us, no, we are his.
We are his heart, his eyes, we are his people, his beloved and as we look upon the lost souls we through his heart and his eyes will see the mirror image of himself. These lost souls are His. He needs us to mirror him in everything to win these souls back for life in the Kingdom.

This is a bitter sweet requirement with much pain but this group will perform wonders through Him.

"You are My Beloved"

2 Timothy 4 v 1-5
1 From Paul, apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God in accordance with his promise of life in Christ Jesus,
2 to Timothy, dear son of mine. Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Night and day I thank God whom I serve with a pure conscience as my ancestors did. I remember you in my prayers constantly night and day;
4 I remember your tears and long to see you again to complete my joy.
5 I also remember your sincere faith, a faith which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and I am sure dwells also in you.

The people that lived in darkness have seen a great light on those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned

Picture of Jesus at the Transfiguration bathed in light opening his arms for us, reaching out to us with his love. We were before him together with the Apostles, we are ordinary people just like they were.

Sense that in our praise we were pulling in the nets or a rope to save people .

Rejoice in My Love

Notes from meeting on 24 January 2012

Rejoice in My love.
Rest in My Love.

Acts 2 v 17-21
17 In the last days -- the Lord declares -- I shall pour out my Spirit on all humanity. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young people shall see visions, your old people dream dreams.
18 Even on the slaves, men and women, shall I pour out my Spirit.
19 I will show portents in the sky above and signs on the earth below.
20 The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the day of the Lord comes, that great and terrible Day.
21 And all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

A New Heaven and a New Earth

Notes from Praise and Intercession Meeting on 20 December 2011

A new Heaven and a new Earth.

Revelation 21 v 1 - 7
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now, and there was no longer any sea.

2 I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband.
3 Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, 'Look, here God lives among human beings. He will make his home among them; they will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them.
4 He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.'
5 Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. 'Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, "What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true."
6 Then he said to me, 'It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water from the well of life free to anybody who is thirsty;
7 anyone who proves victorious will inherit these things; and I will be his God and he will be my son.

***

The Spirit hovers over the void,
The Spirit hovers over Mary
The Spirit hovers over our hearts

Bring Jesus to birth in us as you brought him to birth in Mary.

We pray for all those suffering from addiction of any kind - Lord set them free.

Faith

Notes from Meeting on 6 December 2011

Hebrews 11 v 23-27
23 It was by faith that Moses, when he was born, was kept hidden by his parents for three months; because they saw that he was a fine child; they were not afraid of the royal edict.

24 It was by faith that, when he was grown up, Moses refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter
25 and chose to be ill-treated in company with God's people rather than to enjoy the transitory pleasures of sin.
26 He considered that the humiliations offered to the Anointed were something more precious than all the treasures of Egypt, because he had his eyes fixed on the reward.
27 It was by faith that he left Egypt without fear of the king's anger; he held to his purpose like someone who could see the Invisible.

Lord give us faith and keep us faithful. Help us look forward to our eternal reward.
