Gospel – Mark 4:35-41
35 On that day, as evening drew on, Jesus said to his disciples: “Let us cross to the other side.”
36 Leaving the crowd, they took Jesus with them in the boat just as he was. And other boats were with him.
37 A violent squall came up and waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was already filling up.
38 Jesus was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. They woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”
39 He woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm.
40 Then he asked them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?”
41 They were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this whom even wind and sea obey?”

Picture
A picture of people tending the vines, the grapes seem a little meagre but Blessed Mother prays and magnifies the harvest in her Immaculate Heart, when they go to be pressed an abundant amount of juice comes out, the press is raised and continues pouring out across the earth and the wine seeps out across the ground and on into the sea, which is thrashing with rolling waves, a boat seems to be in trouble but the flow from the wine press makes a calm corridor in the sea for the boat and gently draws it towards a safe Haven.
“My children the harvest seemed poor and the workers few, but with the help of the Almighty God, the Sacrifice of Jesus and the action of the Holy Spirit everything is possible. You sometimes feel as though everything is lost but my little ones if you pray hard I will multiply your prayer and magnify sacrifices and God will pour down His grace and avert disasters, Turn to my Son, the Holy Spirit and God the Father and believe in faith that action will take place, for did my Son not promise ask and you shall receive. The Barque of Faith is still your refuge, and nothing that the adversary sends against it will make it fail, the faith of my Son bought and paid for on His Cross with His Precious Blood will prevail, and all who live and subject their will to His Will will then never be left Forsaken, for you my little ones are flesh of His flesh and the joy and comfort of His Heart, love Him and all will be well.
I your Mother continually pray before my Sons bruised and aching Heart, for His beloved people.
Mary”

From 'To heal the world - Catechesis on the pandemic' by Pope Francis
The pandemic has exposed the plight of the poor and the great inequality that reigns in the world. And the virus, while it does not distinguish between people, has found, in its devastating path, great inequalities and discrimination. And it has exacerbated them!
The pandemic has highlighted how vulnerable and interconnected everyone is.
If we do not take care of one another, stating with the lease, with those who are most impacted, including creation, we cannot heal the world
Prayer for the end of the virus
SECAM, the Symposium of the Episcopal Conferences in Africa and Madagascar, has suggested the following prayer for all those affected by the coronavirus:
Almighty and merciful Father, who show your love to all your creation.
We come before you asking for a quick control of the Coronavirus currently ravaging our world.
Hear graciously the prayers we make for those affected by the virus in various parts of the world.
Grant healing to the sick, eternal life to the dead and consolation to the bereaved families.
We pray that an effective medicine to combat the sickness be speedily found.
We pray for the relevant governments and health authorities that they take appropriate steps for the good of the people.
Look upon us in your mercy and forgive us our failings. Amen.
