Corpus Christi - The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
Gospel – Mark 14:12-16, 22-26
12 On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples said to him, “Where do you want us to go
and prepare for you to eat the Passover?”
13 He sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city and a man will meet you, carrying a jar of water. Follow him.
14 Wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”‘
15 Then he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Make the preparations for us there.”
16 The disciples then went off, entered the city, and found it just as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
22 While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is my body.”
23 Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
24 He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many.
25 Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”
26 Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

A picture of the Lamb of God, Jesus lifting high the Host which was pulsating between His fingers, from the centre flowed Blood and Water which streamed down upon the Church.
“My children, I ask you to look upon the Most Holy Sacrifice of my Son’s Life, Death and Resurrection all contained in the giving of Himself in the Holy Host, I your Mother plead with you to revere and always keep holy the act of Communion which Jesus Himself instigated. Be humble be contrite and when receiving Him be thankful that He left you His people with this perfect gift this outpouring of Himself to draw you to Him. My little ones pray for my Priest sons they who Consecrate bread and wine to become my Son’s Body and Blood are under terrible attacks from my adversary, because my adversary knows that Holy Communion when taken as worthily as is possible is the Way to eventual perfection and will with the help of the Holy Spirit enable you to arrive at your true destination in Heaven with my Son Jesus. Pray for conversion of your own hearts and those of your families and all poor souls who do not know my Son or actively work against Him, your prayer and attentiveness at Mass when receiving my Son will make the difference and thus souls might become receptive and at last turn to Him for His Mercy.
His Body and His Blood was given up as a living Sacrifice for Mankind and yes even my child personally for you.”

Pray for Anne who works in care and some staff seem to have a grudge against her but she doesn't know why. They are making her life very difficult and she wants to leave. She needs to find another job first as this is her only income. Please pray that she finds the right job soon.
Dave whom we have been praying for has made a marvellous recovery after bowel cancer surgery. He now waits to hear about having chemo. On Thursday, his wife is due to have surgery on her nose....basal cancer. Pray that all goes well and thank the Lord for prayers answered.
Thank the Lord for the current ceasefire but continue to pray for a permanent, peaceful and just solution to the Israel/Palestinian conflict.
Jaime the lady from Southern Ireland we have been praying for with a brain tumour who was told she only had 6 weeks to live, has just responded to a new hormone treatment and the doctors have now revised her life expectancy to between 5/10 years, this is a miracle for her husband and children! Praise the Lord.
Pray for Heather who is struggling with personal problems.

Pray for our Government, local authorities and the health services as they deal with the Corona Virus. Pray for a speedy end to the Coronavirus pandemic throughout the world, and for all those who have contracted the virus and for those who have died. Pray that vaccines will be readily available to all throughout the World.
Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church and the World.
