Theotokos Prayer Group 2021 - Update No 31

 

Gospel – John 6:41-51
41 The Jews murmured about Jesus because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven, “
42 and they said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph? Do we not know his father and mother? Then how can he say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”
43 Jesus answered and said to them, “Stop murmuring among yourselves.
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets: They shall all be taught by God. Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.
46 Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father.
47 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.
48 I am the bread of life.
49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;
50 this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.
51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.

O Lord give us the living bread of your presence with us through your Word, the Eucharist and through the gift of the Holy Spirit and of each other.

A picture of a raised Host which was bleeding profusely and of Our Blessed Mother who could see her Son Jesus bleeding from the torn flesh around the hole made in His hand. A any Mother would do she pushed the bleeding flesh together and kissed His wounded hand. Blessed Mother beckoned us each forward to do the same and imitate her.

Mary says:
“My dear children Jesus weeps for the indifference of Man which He feels deep in His Heart and so this causes His wounds to open and bleed continually. 

My little ones when you make reparation for those whom are cold of heart towards my Son, it is as though he receives a loving kiss upon His wounds, this gives Him great comfort to know that he has loving souls who pray, fast, praise, make even little sacrifices, all are like a sweet unction that cools and refreshes His senses. 

He values your Help in entering into the salvific work with Him of saving the souls of His lost people, for this is the most terrible of pains to Him, He who is Love having to lose those that He so thirsts for, He is mad with love for these lost souls.
My children kiss His wounds and His Heart with the love of obedience, the love of prayer, the love seeking His Will in your lives and you will grow closer to my Son.
I am with you always in your endeavours as I place my Motherly Mantle of Protection over you!

Intercessions

Pray for Janey that she won't go ahead with the termination of her baby in 10 days time.

Pray for Ann that the Holy Spirit would give her discernment as she ponders options for her ongoing treatment.

Pray for the needs and future wellbeing of Margaret and for her mother who is worried about her and herself has health problems.

Pray for the people of Afghanistan as they face renewed uncertainty and instability as American and British troops depart.

Pray for the people of Syria who after 10 years of war and economic meltdown are struggling to survive.

Pray for the protection and strengthening of or Priests.

Pray for the salvation of all people.

Continue to pray for an end to the pandemic. As we come out of restrictions pray for caution and  consideration for the more vulnerable and an increased uptake of the vaccine by all those who are eligible for it.
Pray for our Government, the health services, local authorities and volunteers as they deal with the Corona Virus.
Pray that vaccines will be readily available to all throughout the World and that wealthy nations will assist the poorer nations.

Pray for peace and justice throughout the World.

Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church and the World.

Pray for the personal needs of all of Theotokos Prayer Group.
