Theotokos Prayer Group 2021 - Update No 32 - Assumption of the Virgin Mary

 Luke 1:46-55

46 And Mary said,

“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47     and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour,
48 for he has looked with favour on the lowliness of his servant.
    Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me,
    and holy is his name.
50 His mercy is for those who fear him
    from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with his arm;
    he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
52 He has brought down the powerful from their thrones,
    and lifted up the lowly;
53 he has filled the hungry with good things,
    and sent the rich away empty.
54 He has helped his servant Israel,
    in remembrance of his mercy,
55 according to the promise he made to our ancestors,
    to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

"Taken up into heaven, Mary shows us the way to God, the way to heaven, the way to life. She shows it to her children baptized in Christ and to all people of good will. She opens this way especially to the little ones and to the poor, those who are dear to divine mercy. The Queen of the world reveals to individuals and to nations the power of the love of God whose plan upsets that of the proud, pulls down the mighty from their thrones and exalts the humble, fills the hungry with good things and sends the rich empty away" (cf Luke 1:51-53) (Pope John Paul II, Homily at St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome, Aug. 15, 1999).

Picture
Our Blessed Mother with a Crown of resplendent stars upon her head, she is kneeling at the foot of her Son’s Cross. The wound in his side is pouring out blood and water, cascading down upon the World as libation for sins.

“My dear children,
I ask all of you to dedicate your lives your souls, your wealth, your poverty all that is within you and belongs to you especially the souls of your families and the forgotten souls to my Immaculate Heart on this my Feast Day of my Assumption, and like any good mother I will present them to my Son and He shall pour down afresh upon you through His Great Sacrifice the libation of grace like a torrent.
This grace will strengthen you in your innermost being and so you will be able to set aside the difficulties and snares of my adversary and continue on to pray for the souls furthest from my Son Jesus. These souls are beloved ,as you are, and so draw them to His Broken Heart.
My children this day of rejoicing I offer on your behalf to the Father, my Son Jesus and to the Holy Spirit, like a good mother who protects her little ones I am with you in all your endeavours, pray as I do in the Divine Will of Jesus.
My Maternal Blessing through Jesus my Son I place upon you!
Mary"
