Third Sunday of Advent
Gospel – Luke 3:10-18
The crowds asked John the Baptist,
“What should we do?”
He said to them in reply,
“Whoever has two cloaks
should share with the person who has none.
And whoever has food should do likewise.”
Even tax collectors came to be baptized and they said to him,
“Teacher, what should we do?”
He answered them,
“Stop collecting more than what is prescribed.”
Soldiers also asked him,
“And what is it that we should do?”
He told them,
“Do not practice extortion,
do not falsely accuse anyone,
and be satisfied with your wages.”
Now the people were filled with expectation,
and all were asking in their hearts
whether John might be the Christ.
John answered them all, saying,
“I am baptizing you with water,
but one mightier than I is coming.
I am not worthy to loosen the thongs of his sandals.
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
His winnowing fan is in his hand to clear his threshing floor
and to gather the wheat into his barn,
but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”
Exhorting them in many other ways,
he preached good news to the people.
Lord Baptise if the Holy Spirit grant us true Joy within and help us be people of love and compassion. Amen
Picture
A picture of Our Blessed Mother in a pure white garment, it seemed to shine like iridescent Moon beams, Our Mother was pregnant awaiting the birth of Jesus, beside her was the manger for her Child. Three persons came, the first a young boy and he knelt down and offered her three nails, then a young man carried in a Cross and lay it against the manger, lastly a man of old age came in weeping and placed a ring of thorns on the Cross. Blessed Mother accepted these gifts and spoke a blessing of God the Father upon them.
“My dear children the little boy was so grounded in his Faith that at the behest of his parents he spiritually kissed the wounds of my Son every day and so was able to offer the nails of my Sons wounds to me his Mother, as he grew to manhood he carried the crosses of life upon himself and so was able to offer them in alignment with my Son’s Cross to me his Mother, then finally as an aged man when life on Earth was nearly over, he offered me his crown of thorns again aligned to my Son’s which he daily offered to me his Mother. This man though a sinner did his utmost to align himself with my Son Jesus and when his earthly life ended I myself stood with him before my Son and Jesus kissed him and welcomed him to his real home with us. No more tears no more hunger, just Joy and Peace.
My little ones I pray that you align your lives to the Life of my Son Jesus, and then you will see blessings in your lives, you will help save souls for Jesus and you will receive your Eternal Reward.
My Motherly Mantel protects you in all YOU DO for HIM.
Mary”

O blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our most gentle Queen and Mother, look down in mercy upon England thy "Dowry" and upon us all who greatly hope and trust in thee. By thee it was that Jesus our Saviour and our hope was given unto the world; and He has given thee to us that we might hope still more. Plead for us thy children, whom thou didst receive and accept at the foot of the Cross, O sorrowful Mother. Intercede for our separated brethren, that with us in the one true fold they may be united to the supreme Shepherd, the Vicar of thy Son. Pray for us all, dear Mother, that by faith fruitful in good works we may all deserve to see and praise God, together with thee, in our heavenly home.
Amen.
