Jeremiah 17:5-8 ©
A blessing on the man who puts his trust in the Lord
The Lord says this:
‘A curse on the man who puts his trust in man,
who relies on things of flesh,
whose heart turns from the Lord.
He is like dry scrub in the wastelands:
if good comes, he has no eyes for it,
he settles in the parched places of the wilderness,
a salt land, uninhabited.
‘A blessing on the man who puts his trust in the Lord,
with the Lord for his hope.
He is like a tree by the waterside
that thrusts its roots to the stream:
when the heat comes it feels no alarm,
its foliage stays green;
it has no worries in a year of drought,
and never ceases to bear fruit.’
Picture
A picture of Jesus with His Most Sacred Heart aflame, He is standing in front of the door to a persons heart, The Doorway is covered in brambles and thorns, A gentle breeze sends fire from the Heart of Jesus to burn away to ashes the brambles and thorns. Jesus knocks on the door of this poor heart which is so dear to Him and it opens to Him just a little way. This is enough for Jesus to gently open it fully, as Jesus enters the chamber it is cold, dirty and full of junk, the breeze returns and causes the fire of the Love of Jesus to consume all the debris leaving only ashes which the breeze blows out. Now the chamber is looking much better and Jesus leaves. Jesus returns again placing two chairs opposite each other, one for Him and one for the owner of the chamber, they do not say anything to each other just look at each other, The Lord with so much Love, the child of God with gratefulness and awe! Jesus visits this person’s heart for a third time only this time there is only one chair, it is a Throne that takes up all the space in the chamber and Jesus sits on His Throne and never leaves the Heart again.
“My little one’s pray for your brothers and sisters that they might open their hearts to the love of my Son. For love burns all sin away and all sorrows, and anything at all that stops a soul from being fully united to my Son Jesus, Love is the key to opening doors. My little one’s I pray that you too open your hearts to love and grace to keep praying and loving Mankind, Love can be the difference between going to Heaven or being lost, and prayer from the heart for your brothers and sisters is showing great and very necessary love. I cover you with my mantle at all times and I bless you with my maternal blessing.
Mary”
Sacred Heart of Jesus Prayer
by John Henry Newman
Most Sacred,
most loving Heart of Jesus,
You are concealed
in the Holy Eucharist,
And You beat for us still.
Now, as then, You say:
“With desire I have desired.”
I worship You
with all my best love and awe,
With fervent affection,
With my most subdued,
most resolved will.
For a while
You take up Your abode within me.
O make my heart
beat with Your Heart!
Purify it of all that is earthly,
All that is proud and sensual,
All that is hard and cruel,
Of all perversity,
Of all disorder,
Of all deadness.
So fill it with You,
That neither the events of the day,
Nor the circumstances of the time,
May have the power to ruffle it;
But that in Your love
and Your fear,
It may have peace.
Amen.
