Gospel Matthew 5:17-37
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. I tell you solemnly, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, shall disappear from the Law until its purpose is achieved. Therefore, the man who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of heaven; but the man who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of heaven....
Lord help us to keep your commandments, help us in our weakness and temptations. Let us turn back to you when we fall.
Notes from meeting on 7 February 2023
Picture
A picture of a mountain Jesus is at the top. He is waiting and listening there seems to be a great sadness in His eyes, He is awaiting His People!
The only light is from Him, all around is darkness.
Jesus turns to look once more at the foot of the mountain and he hears footsteps and voices and a light seems to be coming up toward Him, this light grows and swells as it comes ever closer to Him.
His countenance changes from sadness to great joy as He sees His Mother leading her children toward Him, the light comes from Blessed Mother, a muted quiet light which in some part emanates from each of those she leads.
As Blessed Mother’s praying army reaches the top to join her Son Jesus many persons have joined on the journey, some right at the beginning some near the end, but the Light of her Son and her own quiet light shines in each and so draws more souls to Him.
"My children, when you pray from the heart for poor souls my Son’s light pours forth and this light becomes irresistible to others and so they turn away from darkness and come to the light. This light enfolds and enwraps the hearts of sinners enabling them to come before the Light of the World and receive forgiveness and healing, my Son delights in His people and places His Peace upon them. Pray my children for the lost souls that they would come to the light. I magnify your prayers in my Immaculate Heart and present them to my Son! Be not afraid for my motherly Heart enfolds you and caresses you as I did for my baby Son, He is with you, love conquers all.

Hebrews 5 v 6 - 10
6 And he says in another place,
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”
7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Intercessions
Pray for those killed in the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, those who grieve, those who are injured and those left to rebuild their lives.
Pray for the repose of the soul of Ken Allison. May he Rest in Peace.
Pray for Leah, she will be sent home from the Freeman hospital shortly where she has been since June.
The doctors have told her husband there is nothing more they can do for her. Cancer is spreading through her body. It is a matter of time.
Pray for healing for Rosie, Charlotte, Tony, Joan, Sandy, Peter, Mia, Jackie, Nathan, Jessica, Alan Guile, David, Derek Malcolm, Hollie, also for Harlan Moon who is still in a coma from three months ago.
Pray for all who are grieving give them strength, consolation and healing.
Pray for our Priests and for vocations to the Priesthood.
Pray for lost souls.
Pray for the conversion of the World.
Lord we continue to pray for Peace in Ukraine and throughout the World.
Lord we pray for persecuted Christians throughout the World.
Lord we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all peoples and nations.
Pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory may they be granted eternal rest.
Mary, Mother of God, Theotokos, pray for us.
Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Mary, Bride of the Spirit, pray for us.
