Alleluia, alleluia!
Make your home in me, as I make mine in you.
Whoever remains in me bears fruit in plenty.
Alleluia!
Gospel: John 15:1-8
I am the vine, you are the branches
Jesus said to his disciples:
‘I am the true vine,
and my Father is the vinedresser.
Every branch in me that bears no fruit
he cuts away,
and every branch that does bear fruit
he prunes to make it bear even more.
You are pruned already,
by means of the word that I have spoken to you.
Make your home in me, as I make mine in you.
As a branch cannot bear fruit all by itself,
but must remain part of the vine,
neither can you unless you remain in me.
I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him,
bears fruit in plenty;
for cut off from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me
is like a branch that has been thrown away – he withers;
these branches are collected and thrown on the fire,
and they are burnt.
If you remain in me
and my words remain in you,
you may ask what you will
and you shall get it.
It is to the glory of my Father that you should bear much fruit,
and then you will be my disciples.’
Notes from meeting on 23 Aril 2024
Picture
Picture of a lamb parted from its mother it is stuck in a thorn bush and is bleeding from scratches and terrified. Wolves have scented his blood and surround him.
Jesus the Good Shepherd walks toward the thorn bush and the wolves step back but don’t leave, Jesus stands between them and the lamb and says very quietly, ‘ You shall not have him, for he is MINE’.
The Wolves depart and Jesus with His crook untangles the lamb and carries him back to the Sheepfold. Jesus Himself tends his cuts and bruises and keeps Him close to His Heart, when all is calm he places him back in his mothers care!
"My dear children pray with me, pray, make sacrifice, be as Holy as you can, together we will help keep my adversary from devouring the little ones. My Son will protect them and pour graces upon them, and they shall call out to my Son and He will be their Shepherd and they will become His Sheep!
Do not be afraid for your dear ones, pray with Faith Hope and Humility and all will come right, for my Son is Love and cannot refuse those He loves their requests.
Come pray with me together we will shower His graces on Mankind!
Mary"
Luke 1 v 78-79
78 By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us,
79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Mass for Pentecost
Mass for Pentecost at St Mary’s Cathedral Church at 1:00 pm on Saturday 11 May, 2024. The theme for the Mass will be 'Renewed in the Holy Spirit'. Pope Francis emphasises that CHARIS' role is to point all communities of the Charismatic Renewal, which he called a "current of grace" to "communion on the path ahead". The annual Mass for Pentecost is proving to be a blessed opportunity for sisters and brothers in Renewal to come together in communion on the path ahead for us in the Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle.
