Alleluia, alleluia!
Jesus said: ‘If anyone loves me he will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we shall come to him.’
Alleluia!
Gospel John 15:9-17
You are my friends if you do what I command you
Jesus said to his disciples:
‘As the Father has loved me,
so I have loved you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments
you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.
I have told you this
so that my own joy may be in you
and your joy be complete.
This is my commandment:
love one another, as I have loved you.
A man can have no greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends,
if you do what I command you.
I shall not call you servants any more,
because a servant does not know
his master’s business;
I call you friends,
because I have made known to you
everything I have learnt from my Father.
You did not choose me:
no, I chose you;
and I commissioned you
to go out and to bear fruit,
fruit that will last;
and then the Father will give you
anything you ask him in my name.
What I command you
is to love one another.’
Notes from meeting on 30 May 2024
Picture
A picture of complete heavy darkness, people cannot see their own hands!
Out of the darkness appears a flame that becomes a beacon. All people look towards this Beacon of Light and somewhere from within their being they find the strength to start praying and praising.
Blessed Mother appears and leads her army to the beacon, there is no other way or road, and all must walk with her, as the army gets nearer to this light, they can see it is the Sacred Heart of Jesus and there is an entrance with two huge wooden doors, as they open everyone takes refuge within. Within this Refuge is Love Comfort and Hope!
"My dear little children,
You each carry heavy burdens but look to my Son’s Sacred Heart, their you will find provision for all your needs.
My children I hold you by the hand leading you always to my Son, for He is The Way,The Truth and The Life!
Without my Son you will loose your way.
Without my Son you will more easily succumb to the adversary’s lies
Without my Son you will not have true life within you!
I your Mother cover you with my Mantel of Peace and ever lead you on towards the Heart of my Son.
He whose Heart is like an Oasis in the barren land.
Come my children to the Refuge of Hope the Heart of my Son Jesus!
All will be well; have Faith.
Mary"
Mark 3 v 31 - 35
31 Then his mother and his brothers came; and standing outside, they sent to him and called him. 32 A crowd was sitting around him; and they said to him, ‘Your mother and your brothers and sisters are outside, asking for you.’ 33 And he replied, ‘Who are my mother and my brothers?’ 34 And looking at those who sat around him, he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.’

Mass for Pentecost Mass for Pentecost at St Mary’s Cathedral Church at 1:00 pm on Saturday 11 May, 2024. The theme for the Mass will be 'Renewed in the Holy Spirit'. Pope Francis emphasises that CHARIS' role is to point all communities of the Charismatic Renewal, which he called a "current of grace" to "communion on the path ahead". The annual Mass for Pentecost is proving to be a blessed opportunity for sisters and brothers in Renewal to come together in communion on the path ahead for us in the Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle.
