I am doing a new thing
Picture of a ball of light within a cloud of gloom. Within the ball of light I could see Our Lady holding in her arms the dead body of her Son Jesus. The light became larger dispelling the gloom and in its centre was Jesus risen from death.
It was as if all of us were being pulled into this light and as if with Our Lady we were all one with Jesus. Each person felt renewed, free and full of life. The life was flowing from Him into us until we all felt in tune. One body, He in us and we in Him. More and more we desired His presence.
The picture changes to Our Lady holding the dead figure of a man covered in sores and in a grievous state. This figure represents mankind and his state of being now in the world. Our Lady beckoned us to come and see the pitiful sight of our lost brothers and sisters. Our Lady presented this figure to God and she spoke words of supplication and tears of real sorrow fell from her eyes. As her eyes turned to us they pleaded for prayer and good actions to bring the light of the Holy Spirit to work upon this dead body, to reverse the damage and heal mankind. Her Son has paid the price but the sickness is so bad, more vigilant prayer is needed. As we begin to put into action her requests bit by bit the figure starts to recover, until a new child is in her arms glowing with health and able to understand and grow in God's ways.
All prayer, praise and acts of goodness defeat the enemy and enable healing and growth.
We are being called to bring light into darkness.

* Don't look back I am doing a new thing.
Isaiah 43:19 (New International Version)
19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
*Outpouring, downpour of the Spirit making us new, clean
*A body being hosed down - made clean
*A boat with men fishing casting out the nets, in the storm.
* A new day dawns , things are new
* The homeless man (the derelict) needing to be restored . Jesus wants to restore them and us
* Jesus is the Shepherd that looks for the lost sheep, to drag them from the swamp, to bring them to restful waters, to bind up their wounds.
Psalm 40 (New International Version)
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.
4 Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. 5 Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.
6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire— but my ears you have opened— burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require. 7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come— it is written about me in the scroll. 8 I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”
9 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, LORD, as you know. 10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.
11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. 12 For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me. 13 Be pleased to save me, LORD; come quickly, LORD, to help me.
14 May all who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. 15 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!” be appalled at their own shame. 16 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, “The LORD is great!”
17 But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.

Drop the net here
Picture of a large black void. A large lake of thick acrid boiling mud was being spewed out of the mouth of this void. Flames and bursts of boiling mud were flowing upwards. People were drowning and choking, their mouths and nostrils full of boilng mud. Other beings were trying to drag them under and into the mouth of the void. The people couldn't even cry out for help.
Jesus is standing on the shore of the lake beckoning. Members of this group and others are stepping into flat boats and with great courage they fan out in the boats making a large arc on the lake. Jesus says "Drop the net here" and then He makes a sign for the boats to return to the shore. He greets us and as we come on shore the net drags many choked burnt and agonised people to the shore as well. Jesus exposes his wounded body and Blood and Water flow over them. Immediately they are cleanses and healed. Jesus says "By My wounds you saved by My Grace be clean and sin no more".
It was felt that Jesus was saying that even when He calls us to do something and we are scared to do so He will be right there with us. We cannot do any work for him unless He is there with us. If He asks us to do something He will give us the courage needed. It was also felt that it was very significant that we all worked together in unison with Him (not on our own). Our prayers and praise were represented by the net pulling poor souls out of the very depths of drakness. We are asked to participate in this work as one body with Him. His is the grace, healing and cleansing our action of prayer, praising, fasting, good works is the participation He requires. It is not men we are fighting but evil principalities. We cannot do this on our won we have to involve Jesus at every level.Ephesians 6 v 10-18
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
Isaiah 54
Lord help us to pray earnestly for those in darkness and in need of salvation and help us to accept or trials and crosses

The Call of Love - Deep calls to deep
PICTURE OF JESUS, HE IS WEEPING TEARS, HIS HEART IS EXPOSED AND GREAT DROPS OF BLOOD ARE WEEPING FROM HIS HEART.
My people your love consoles me when I weep. I see the love you have in your hearts and all the good they contain, and this consoles my broken heart. My heart bleeds grievously for the evil and cold indifference in other hearts. I long for these hearts to contain my love, I long and thirst for them to return to me. Every time you are obedient to too my call of love upon you, you console my weeping heart, I see all your good actions, how you try to follow my path, it makes my heart soar with love and gratitude. My little flock listen always to my call of love. Love is not always the easiest path but it is the most fruitful. I you walk my path with the Holy Spirit, you know you are walking in the Father's will, the will of obedience. If you continue to walk this path of love, our adversary Satan, cannot lead you elsewhere. Your continual obedience to my call of love, is truly the consolation of my broken heart
My beloved little flock.

DEEP CALLS TO DEEP
oh the day draws in, my heart weeps
tears run down my cheek, deep calls to deep
deep calls to deep
the waves and billows wash over me
I’ve been baptised into the waters of life
now I’m diving into the sea
I’m fishing for the souls of men
in the sea of humanity
I’m casting my nets as I’m listening to
the man from Galilee
listen you who have ears to hear
look you who have eyes to see
you are my beloved
in whom I am well pleased
my good my faithful ones
in whom I put my trust
I know my own
my own know me
they hear my voice
and they listen
it is my father’s will that not one will be lost
angels will lift you lest you stumble on a stone
these words you hear me speak these words are not my own
they are the words of the Father who sent me
deep calls to deep
the waves and billows wash over me
I’ve been baptised into the waters of life
now I’m diving into the sea
I’m fishing for the souls of men
in the sea of humanity
I’m casting my nets as I’m listening to
the man from Galilee
oh the day draws in, my heart weeps
tears run down my cheek, deep calls to deep

A sense of a shining light around my head that seemed to lift the darkness and depression with me. It was if in our Praise either we had been raised to heaven or that heaven had come down to us.

Jude v 17 - 24
A Call to Persevere
17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. 22 Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Doxology 24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Cast out the nets
Psalm 74 v 12 - 23
12 But you, O God, are my king from of old;
you bring salvation upon the earth.
13 It was you who split open the sea by your power;
you broke the heads of the monster in the waters.
14 It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan
and gave him as food to the creatures of the desert.
15 It was you who opened up springs and streams;
you dried up the ever flowing rivers.
16 The day is yours, and yours also the night;
you established the sun and moon.
17 It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth;
you made both summer and winter.
18 Remember how the enemy has mocked you, O LORD,
how foolish people have reviled your name.
19 Do not hand over the life of your dove to wild beasts;
do not forget the lives of your afflicted people forever.
20 Have regard for your covenant,
because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.
21 Do not let the oppressed retreat in disgrace;
may the poor and needy praise your name.
22 Rise up, O God, and defend your cause;
remember how fools mock you all day long.
23 Do not ignore the clamor of your adversaries,
the uproar of your enemies, which rises continually.
This psalm relates to the sovereignty of God.
Before we begin intercession we need to lay down our own burdens and concerns at the altar.
The altar is there at the feet of God in the sanctuary before his throne and this is where we leave have to leave our burdens so we can be free to intercede as he wishes and in accordance with his will so that his purposes (his kingdom) is achieved.
Your kingdom come your will be done
Intercession involves casting out our nets at the Lord's direction just as he directed Peter to cast out the nets for a catch
Luke 5 v 4-6
4When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch." 5Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets." 6When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
We will not neccessarily get the full picture or story of how or where our praise is being used.Use of all our senses - body - music ministry helpful - rhythm - clapping stamping feet - dancing
Intercession takes place in the spiritual realm and we are called to partake in spiritual warfare.
The evil one will cause interference obstacles in our way - but we must move forward from our place of victory through Jesus - the victory is won
Dreams can be instructive - showing us intercession needs - let the Holy Spirit interpret the dreams (nor psychoanalyse)
see scripture (Acts) of Joel's prophecy that Peter says is fulfilled (your young men will have visions - old men dream dreams)
Acts 2 v14 -21
14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! 16No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17" 'In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.'

Many people are praising God and He sends his light onto the dark world.

Some words from Ann on the nights word:
The strength of the praise is awesome. In many ways we all go back a long way together. What particularly grabbed my attention was this verse. I had not noticed this part before. "7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink."
There is no doubt in my heart that The Holy Spirit has called us together, meaning you and the Theotokos members and me and others who are coming to intercede. He is teaching us how to get the boat ready, how to hoist the sails, how to set sail and how to prepare the nets. He may let us fish all night but It is inconceivable that He will not eventually show us where to cast our nets. God Bless, Ann
