Come receive the Water of Life

Notes of meeting on 17 April 2018

Picture of a flock of sheep in distress . The sheep had been covered in mist and
couldn't see the way, they had strayed into barren land and could find no water or pasture to eat. They were feeling dejected, lonely and their feet were bloodied by the rocks.
A little lamb suddenly cried out 'Father help us, we can't go on without your help'. In the distance the sheep could see the outline of many trees, they found the reserves to keep going. When they arrived Jesus was in the trees a pool was at his feet and the source was Jesus.
The sheep drank thirstily and Jesus tended their poor feet. He showed them the way to good pasture letting each one in by their own name.
Jesus says "My own come receive the Water of Life, I will never abandon you."

Mary says "My Son will always respond to anyone in need when they ask, and He will give to them lavishly. My children sometimes when Satan strikes it seems as though all is lost, remember this is not true, it is a lie that Satan wants you to believe.
My Son will always help you and I your Mother will always go to Him on your behalf.
How could we forget our own dear children.
Please pray for your brothers and sisters that they may come to my Son that they can be saved and see through the wiles of our adversary.
Prayer and praise can do miraculous mighty works, calling on the Father and the Holy Spirit at all times. Feel confident in my Son's love for there is nothing else compared to His overflowing continuous love.
Mary."

My child your sins are forgiven

Notes of meeting on 13 January 2015

We thank you Lord for your living water, cleanse and purify us, heal us, forgive us, redeem us.
Fill us with your living water, fill us with your Spirit that we may praise worship and serve you and also that we may serve your people and the world at large.

Mark 2 v 1- 12

1 When he returned to Capernaum, some time later word went round that he was in the house;
2 and so many people collected that there was no room left, even in front of the door. He was preaching the word to them
3 when some people came bringing him a paralytic carried by four men,
4 but as they could not get the man to him through the crowd, they stripped the roof over the place where Jesus was; and when they had made an opening, they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic lay.
5 Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, 'My child, your sins are forgiven.'
6 Now some scribes were sitting there, and they thought to themselves,
7 'How can this man talk like that? He is being blasphemous. Who but God can forgive sins?'
8 And at once, Jesus, inwardly aware that this is what they were thinking, said to them, 'Why do you have these thoughts in your hearts?
9 Which of these is easier: to say to the paralytic, "Your sins are forgiven" or to say, "Get up, pick up your stretcher and walk"?
10 But to prove to you that the Son of man has authority to forgive sins on earth' --
11 he said to the paralytic-'I order you: get up, pick up your stretcher, and go off home.'
12 And the man got up, and at once picked up his stretcher and walked out in front of everyone, so that they were all astonished and praised God saying, 'We have never seen anything like this.'

Living water

Notes of meeting on 23 July 2013

The world is dry like the desert. Praise Jesus for the immense love he has in giving himself to us in the Eucharist. This love brings healing to the world. Let the living waters flow bringing blooms in the desert.

James 5 v 7 - 20

7 Now be patient, brothers, until the Lord's coming. Think of a farmer: how patiently he waits for the precious fruit of the ground until it has had the autumn rains and the spring rains! 8 You too must be patient; do not lose heart, because the Lord's coming will be soon. 9 Do not make complaints against one another, brothers, so as not to be brought to judgement yourselves; the Judge is already to be seen waiting at the gates. 10 For your example, brothers, in patiently putting up with persecution, take the prophets who spoke in the Lord's name; 11 remember it is those who had perseverance that we say are the blessed ones. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and understood the Lord's purpose, realising that the Lord is kind and compassionate. 12 Above all, my brothers, do not swear by heaven or by the earth or use any oaths at all. If you mean 'yes', you must say 'yes'; if you mean 'no', say 'no'. Otherwise you make yourselves liable to judgement. 13 Any one of you who is in trouble should pray; anyone in good spirits should sing a psalm. 14 Any one of you who is ill should send for the elders of the church, and they must anoint the sick person with oil in the name of the Lord and pray over him. 15 The prayer of faith will save the sick person and the Lord will raise him up again; and if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. 16 So confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another to be cured; the heartfelt prayer of someone upright works very powerfully. 17 Elijah was a human being as frail as ourselves -- he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell for three and a half years; 18 then he prayed again and the sky gave rain and the earth gave crops. 19 My brothers, if one of you strays away from the truth, and another brings him back to it, 20 he may be sure that anyone who can bring back a sinner from his erring ways will be saving his soul from death and covering over many a sin.

Ephesians 6 v 10-18

1 Children, be obedient to your parents in the Lord -- that is what uprightness demands. 2 The first commandment that has a promise attached to it is: Honour your father and your mother, 3 and the promise is: so that you may have long life and prosper in the land. 4 And parents, never drive your children to resentment but bring them up with correction and advice inspired by the Lord. 5 Slaves, be obedient to those who are, according to human reckoning, your masters, with deep respect and sincere loyalty, as you are obedient to Christ: 6 not only when you are under their eye, as if you had only to please human beings, but as slaves of Christ who wholeheartedly do the will of God. 7 Work willingly for the sake of the Lord and not for the sake of human beings. 8 Never forget that everyone, whether a slave or a free man, will be rewarded by the Lord for whatever work he has done well. 9 And those of you who are employers, treat your slaves in the same spirit; do without threats, and never forget that they and you have the same Master in heaven and there is no favouritism with him. 10 Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power. 11 Put on the full armour of God so as to be able to resist the devil's tactics. 12 For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle, but against the principalities and the ruling forces who are masters of the darkness in this world, the spirits of evil in the heavens. 13 That is why you must take up all God's armour, or you will not be able to put up any resistance on the evil day, or stand your ground even though you exert yourselves to the full. 14 So stand your ground, with truth a belt round your waist, and uprightness a breastplate, 15 wearing for shoes on your feet the eagerness to spread the gospel of peace 16 and always carrying the shield of faith so that you can use it to quench the burning arrows of the Evil One. 17 And then you must take salvation as your helmet and the sword of the Spirit, that is, the word of God. 18 In all your prayer and entreaty keep praying in the Spirit on every possible occasion. Never get tired of staying awake to pray for all God's holy people,

Living water and fire of Love

Notes of meeting on 2 July 2013

Picture of a city with an open door within which was a tree - The Tree of Life. From the tree flowed water that flowed out of the door and became a flowing river. Also from the tree came fire - the love of the Father spreading out on the people.

Rev 21 v 22-27

22 I could not see any temple in the city since the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb were themselves the temple, 23 and the city did not need the sun or the moon for light, since it was lit by the radiant glory of God, and the Lamb was a lighted torch for it. 24 The nations will come to its light and the kings of the earth will bring it their treasures. 25 Its gates will never be closed by day -- and there will be no night there- 26 and the nations will come, bringing their treasure and their wealth. 27 Nothing unclean may come into it: no one who does what is loathsome or false, but only those who are listed in the Lamb's book of life.

Rev 22 v 1-7

1 Then the angel showed me the river of life, rising from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowing crystal-clear. 2 Down the middle of the city street, on either bank of the river were the trees of life, which bear twelve crops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the nations. 3 The curse of destruction will be abolished. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city; his servants will worship him, 4 they will see him face to face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 And night will be abolished; they will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will be shining on them. They will reign for ever and ever. 6 The angel said to me, 'All that you have written is sure and will come true: the Lord God who inspires the prophets has sent his angel to reveal to his servants what is soon to take place. 7 I am coming soon!' Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.

Truth is a person,Jesus. Jesus is among us.

Col 3 v 12 - 17

12 As the chosen of God, then, the holy people whom he loves, you are to be clothed in heartfelt compassion, in generosity and humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with one another; forgive each other if one of you has a complaint against another. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same. 14 Over all these clothes, put on love, the perfect bond. 15 And may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it is for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful. 16 Let the Word of Christ, in all its richness, find a home with you. Teach each other, and advise each other, in all wisdom. With gratitude in your hearts sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God; 17 and whatever you say or do, let it be in the name of the Lord Jesus, in thanksgiving to God the Father through him.

Living Water

Notes of Meeting on 8 November 2011

Picture of Mary praying with us. She points us towards Jesus.
Jesus draws us to his breast and water flows from His Heart to our hearts.
This water then springs from our hearts to the hearts of others.
Springs of Living Water flowing out to all

'If anyone is thirty let him come to Me' see John 7 v37

*
The Lord is wanting to break down strongholds and rebuild us , unite us

*

Mark 9 v 35-41

35 So he sat down, called the Twelve to him and said, 'If anyone wants to be first, he must make himself last of all and servant of all.'

36 He then took a little child whom he set among them and embraced, and he said to them,
37 'Anyone who welcomes a little child such as this in my name, welcomes me; and anyone who welcomes me, welcomes not me but the one who sent me.'
38 John said to him, 'Master, we saw someone who is not one of us driving out devils in your name, and because he was not one of us we tried to stop him.'
39 But Jesus said, 'You must not stop him; no one who works a miracle in my name could soon afterwards speak evil of me.
40 Anyone who is not against us is for us.
41 'If anyone gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ, then in truth I tell you, he will most certainly not lose his reward.

Isaiah 44 v 21-28
21 Remember these things, Jacob, and Israel, since you are my servant. I formed you, you are my servant; Israel, I shall not forget you.

22 I have dispelled your acts of revolt like a cloud and your sins like a mist. Come back to me, for I have redeemed you.
23 Heavens, shout for joy, for Yahweh has acted! Underworld, shout aloud! Shout for joy, you mountains, forests and all your trees! For Yahweh has redeemed Jacob and displayed his glory in Israel.
24 Thus says Yahweh, your redeemer, he who formed you in the womb: I, Yahweh, have made all things, I alone spread out the heavens. When I hammered the earth into shape, who was with me?
25 I, who foil the omens of soothsayers and make fools of diviners, who confound sages turning their knowledge into folly,
26 who confirm the word of my servant and make the plans of my envoys succeed; who say to Jerusalem, 'You will be inhabited,' and to the towns of Judah, 'You will be rebuilt and I shall restore the ruins of Jerusalem';
27 who say to the ocean, 'Dry up! I shall make your rivers run dry';
28 who say to Cyrus, 'My shepherd.' He will perform my entire will by saying to Jerusalem, 'You will be rebuilt,' and to the Temple, 'You will be refounded.'

Come all you who are thirsty

Notes of meeting on 1 March 2011

Isaiah 55:1-13 (New International Version, ©2011)
Invitation to the Thirsty
1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. 2 Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. 3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. 4 See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples. 5 Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.”
6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the LORD’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.”

Ezekiel 47:1-9 (New International Version, ©2011)
The River From the Temple
1 The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. 2 He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side.
3 As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. 4 He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. 5 He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross. 6 He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?”
Then he led me back to the bank of the river. 7 When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. 8 He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. 9 Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live.

Matthew 13:44-45 (New International Version, ©2011)
The Parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl
44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.

Living Water

Notes of meeting on 4 May 2010

Take up your cross and follow me.

Picture of sheep around a Rock from which flows living water. The sheep drink from the water that flows into a river and the sheep that have drank from the water bring other sheep to the river to drink.

I really do want to bless you, to prosper you.
Your strength is in me.
Open your heart mind body and spirit to me to receive the gifts that I want to give to you.

Renew your wonders in this our day as by a new Pentecost.
Grant to your Church that, being of one mind and steadfast in prayer with Mary the Mother of Jesus, and following the lead of blessed St Peter, it may advance the reign of our Divine Saviour, the reign of truth and justice, the reign of love and peace. Amen.
(Pope John Paul XXIII)
