Rejoice in My Love

Notes from meeting on 24 January 2012

Rejoice in My love.
Rest in My Love.

Acts 2 v 17-21
17 In the last days -- the Lord declares -- I shall pour out my Spirit on all humanity. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young people shall see visions, your old people dream dreams.
18 Even on the slaves, men and women, shall I pour out my Spirit.
19 I will show portents in the sky above and signs on the earth below.
20 The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the day of the Lord comes, that great and terrible Day.
21 And all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

A New Heaven and a New Earth

Notes from Praise and Intercession Meeting on 20 December 2011

A new Heaven and a new Earth.

Revelation 21 v 1 - 7
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now, and there was no longer any sea.

2 I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband.
3 Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, 'Look, here God lives among human beings. He will make his home among them; they will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them.
4 He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.'
5 Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. 'Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, "What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true."
6 Then he said to me, 'It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water from the well of life free to anybody who is thirsty;
7 anyone who proves victorious will inherit these things; and I will be his God and he will be my son.

The Spirit hovers over the void,
The Spirit hovers over Mary
The Spirit hovers over our hearts

Bring Jesus to birth in us as you brought him to birth in Mary.

We pray for all those suffering from addiction of any kind - Lord set them free.

Notes from Meeting on 6 December 2011

Hebrews 11 v 23-27
23 It was by faith that Moses, when he was born, was kept hidden by his parents for three months; because they saw that he was a fine child; they were not afraid of the royal edict.

24 It was by faith that, when he was grown up, Moses refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter
25 and chose to be ill-treated in company with God's people rather than to enjoy the transitory pleasures of sin.
26 He considered that the humiliations offered to the Anointed were something more precious than all the treasures of Egypt, because he had his eyes fixed on the reward.
27 It was by faith that he left Egypt without fear of the king's anger; he held to his purpose like someone who could see the Invisible.

Lord give us faith and keep us faithful. Help us look forward to our eternal reward.
