New Life

Notes of meeting on 21 July 2015

Picture of a multitude of sheep in a sheepfold.
There were may sheep trying to get to the sheepfold, they seemed far away, and Satan had put obstacles in their way and a dark mist to try and make them lose their way.
The sheep already within the sheepfold became alert and sensed that their fellow sheep were in trouble.
Jesus appeared at the gate of the sheepfold and from His Heart great rays of light could be seen penetrating the mist. The sheep were so weary, cold and beaten down but seemed to get a new spurt of life within them. Some were so injured it seemed impossible for them to make it to the sheepfold but somehow the light of Jesus gave then new life.
The sheep within the sheepfold began to sing and praise in a heavenly chorus and somehow this song and praise erupted from them with many Angels going out to the sheep who were struggling. They bound up their wounds on the journey encouraged them until, almost when you thought there was no more hope, they had arrived.
Jesus took each one separately and soothed and comforted them. He washed them and admitted them to the sheepfold.

"Come you chosen of My Father, Inherit that which has always belonged to you: New Life."

It was felt that Jesus was showing us how important it is for us to keep persevering in prayer and praise, that we could help in the miracle of His redemptive work by allying ourselves and working with His Kingdom and in the utter Mercy and beauty of Our God.

Psalm 43
1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who are treacherous and unjust, rescue me.
2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassed by the enemy?
3 Send out your light and your truth; they shall be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to the place where you dwell.
4 Then I shall go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I will rejoice and praise you on the harp, O God, my God.
5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him still, my Saviour, my God.

1 Chronicles 17 v 16 -
16 King David then went in, sat down in Yahweh's presence and said: 'Who am I, Yahweh God, and what is my lineage, that you have led me as far as this?
17 Yet, to you, O God, this seemed too little, and now you extend your promises for your servant's family into the distant future, making me see as it were a whole succession of men, and it is Yahweh God himself who raises it up.
18 What more can David reply to you for the honour you have given to your servant? You yourself have singled out your servant.
19 For your servant, and since you were so inclined, you have had the generosity to reveal all this greatness to come.
20 Yahweh, there is no one like you, no God but you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms.
21 Is there another people on earth like your people Israel, whom a god has proceeded to redeem, to make them his people and to make them famous and do for them great and terrible deeds, by driving out nations before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?-
22 for you made your people Israel your own people for ever and you, Yahweh, became their God.
23 'Now, Yahweh, may the promise which you have made for your servant and as regards his family hold good for ever, and do as you have said.
24 May it hold good, so your name will be exalted for ever and people will say, "Israel's God is Yahweh Sabaoth; he is God for Israel." Your servant David's dynasty will be secure before you
25 since you, my God, have disclosed to your servant that you are going to build him a dynasty. Hence, your servant has ventured to offer this prayer to you.
26 Yes, Yahweh, you are God indeed, and you have made this generous promise to your servant.
27 What is more, you have deigned to bless your servant's dynasty, so that it may remain for ever before you; and since you, Yahweh, have blessed it, blessed will it be for ever.'

Luke 14 v 17 -24
17 When the time for the banquet came, he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited, "Come along: everything is ready now."
18 But all alike started to make excuses. The first said, "I have bought a piece of land and must go and see it. Please accept my apologies."
19 Another said, "I have bought five yoke of oxen and am on my way to try them out. Please accept my apologies."
20 Yet another said, "I have just got married and so am unable to come."
21 'The servant returned and reported this to his master. Then the householder, in a rage, said to his servant, "Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in here the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame."
22 "Sir," said the servant, "your orders have been carried out and there is still room."
23 Then the master said to his servant, "Go to the open roads and the hedgerows and press people to come in, to make sure my house is full;
24 because, I tell you, not one of those who were invited shall have a taste of my banquet." '

August Prayer Intention

August Prayer Intention

That the Catholic Church will heed the call of Pope Francis to include physical and spiritual healing as a major and essential part of Her mission of evangelisation.

Pope Francis "it is the favourable time to heal wounds, a time not to be weary of meeting all those who are waiting to see and touch with their hands the signs of the closeness of God, a time to offer everyone the way of forgiveness and reconciliation."

We will be having a monthly prayer intention throughout the year and if anyone has ideas for areas of intercession please let us know.

Jubilee of Mercy 2015-2016

en

Prayer of Pope Francis for the Jubilee

Lord Jesus Christ, you have taught us to be merciful like the heavenly Father,
and have told us that whoever sees you sees Him.
Show us your face and we will be saved.
Your loving gaze freed Zacchaeus and Matthew from being enslaved by money; the adulteress and Magdalene from seeking happiness only in created things;made Peter weep after his betrayal, and assured Paradise to the repentant thief.
Let us hear, as if addressed to each one of us, the words that you spoke to the Samaritan woman:
“If you knew the gift of God!”

You are the visible face of the invisible Father,of the God who manifests his power above all by forgiveness and mercy:
let the Church be your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and glorified.
You willed that your ministers would also be clothed in weakness in order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error:
let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God.

Send your Spirit and consecrate every one of us with its anointing, so that the Jubilee of Mercy may be a year of grace from the Lord, and your Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives and the oppressed, and restore sight to the blind.

We ask this of you, Lord Jesus, through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Mercy; you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever.
Amen.

Draw all men unto Me

Notes of meeting 30 June 2015

Picture of Jesus, as though He were at the Last Supper, but instead of the Apostles there were many Priests in many circles around Him. Jesus lifted the bread and wine and completed the blessing. it was as though He were reinforcing, underlining and verifying the holiness, solemnity and sacrifice of the consecration.
the Priest's were in all manner of robes, red for martyrdom, blue for Marian, white, green , gold all making up the Body of Christ's Priests.
Our Lady was kneeling and asked us to:

"Please pray for My son's"

The Holy Spirit in a gentle breeze brought fine rain to fall on them and within them and as they opened their heats to the rain it was as though the scales dropped from their hearts and minds so they could feel and fully perceive the solemnity and beauty of the Eucharist.

Notes of meeting on 7 July 2015

Picture of many sheep all line up before Our Lord, Jesus. He was marking each sheep on its head and mouth with His Blood. All the sheep had a colour or mark on their fleece. rather like monks and priest from may different orders, all were of one body in union with the Lord, but all had different gifts to enhance the Kingdom.
Those sheep with the blue mark on their fleece seemed to be doing a special job for Our Blessed Mother they were trying to pray steadfastly with her for all the other sheep so that they could fulfil the various vocations given them. They were battered and attacked by outside influences but the Blessed Mother encouraged them and soothed them and took them under her Mantle. She told them how important it was to pray for everyone especially priests and fallen souls and that our prayers would soften the heart of the Holy Father in Heaven and thus the Holy Spirit would allow the Mercy of Jesus to fall upon them and the fallen would turn to Jesus for Mercy and the Priests would fulfil their holy obligation all the better became our prayers help them to receive more graces.

Mary says:

"My children, Theotokos, you bear the name of your Mother and of my Son Jesus. I will help you always to fulfil the will of God in your lives and in doing so will help save many souls.
I give you My Son Jesus' blessing."

Notes of meeting 14 July 2015

Picture of Jesus suffering His Passion. A little child was trying to comfort Him but the little child was distressed at the ferocity with which they hurt the child's Master.
Jesus even though suffering valued the child's hurt and compassion and asked His Mother to come over and take the child under her mantle and to teach the child. The child felt bereft of it's Master but under the teaching and example of the master's Mother became very spirit filled and able to pray for others.
Mary herself taught the child, as she had her Son Jesus, and the child grew stronger in knowledge and in love for every person it encountered till one day it's tiny little soul with the Holy Mothers soared up to the Heavens and met Jesus their hearts entwined and in union.
The Mother had taught her child well and the child went out  to beckon others to the light and the way.
The little child is Theotokos. Jesus says "Draw all men unto Me".

The soul of the child returned to earth re-clothed and enrobed in a new white garment that dazzled and drew people to the Light.

I John 3 v 1 -11
1 You must see what great love the Father has lavished on us by letting us be called God's children -- which is what we are! The reason why the world does not acknowledge us is that it did not acknowledge him.
2 My dear friends, we are already God's children, but what we shall be in the future has not yet been revealed. We are well aware that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is.
3 Whoever treasures this hope of him purifies himself, to be as pure as he is.
4 Whoever sins, acts wickedly, because all sin is wickedness.
5 Now you are well aware that he has appeared in order to take sins away, and that in him there is no sin.
6 No one who remains in him sins, and whoever sins has neither seen him nor recognised him.
7 Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Whoever acts uprightly is upright, just as he is upright.
8 Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. This was the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.
9 No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God.
10 This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not from God.
11 This is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we must love one another,

Titus 3 v 1 - 7
1 Remind them to be obedient to the officials in authority; to be ready to do good at every opportunity;
2 not to go slandering other people but to be peaceable and gentle, and always polite to people of all kinds.
3 There was a time when we too were ignorant, disobedient and misled and enslaved by different passions and dissipations; we lived then in wickedness and malice, hating each other and hateful ourselves.
4 But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour for humanity were revealed,
5 it was not because of any upright actions we had done ourselves; it was for no reason except his own faithful love that he saved us, by means of the cleansing water of rebirth and renewal in the Holy Spirit
6 which he has so generously poured over us through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 so that, justified by his grace, we should become heirs in hope of eternal life.
