September Prayer Intention 2016

Prayer for healing

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others; touch my heart with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch my mind with Your Wisdom, and may my mouth always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in all my needs, and help me to lead others to You by my example.
Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which you have created, now and forever.
Amen.

My whole being hopes in the Lord

Notes of meeting on 23 August 2016

Picture of this group and in the middle was a large throne that although ornate also looked comfortable. Jesus took his place and sat down in our midst.
Our Lady looked at us all and smiled. Jesus looked so pleased to see us all together keeping Him company.
Our Lady made a sign towards us with her hand and said:
"You see my Son these children of ours will help us I myself have tutored them in your ways and they are now ready to open their hearts and enthrone you."
Jesus immediately entered each persons heart.
Some of us felt very comfortable, some of us felt overawed and anxious that we were not good enough but this did not matter as just willing was all that was required. All felt such love, joy and hope.
Our Lady said:
"Let my Son Jesus reign in your hearts and very soon others will be drawn to the light of my Son Jesus. You will evangelise, some with words but mostly because others will see Jesus residing in you through your thoughts and actions. Don't be anxious lay your hearts on the Heart of my Son Jesus and you will experience real Love, real Joy, real Hope.
Be as an oasis in a parched land, fruitful and peaceful. Do not be afraid.
I bless you with my maternal blessing.
Mary".

Psalm 130
1 [Song of Ascents] From the depths I call to you, Yahweh:
2 Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!
3 If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?
4 But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.
5 I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.
6 My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen for daybreak
7 let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;
8 and he will ransom Israel from all its sins.

1 Peter 4 v 12-16
12 My dear friends, do not be taken aback at the testing by fire which is taking place among you, as though something strange were happening to you;
13 but in so far as you share in the sufferings of Christ, be glad, so that you may enjoy a much greater gladness when his glory is revealed.
14 If you are insulted for bearing Christ's name, blessed are you, for on you rests the Spirit of God, the Spirit of glory.
15 None of you should ever deserve to suffer for being a murderer, a thief, a criminal or an informer;
16 but if any one of you should suffer for being a Christian, then there must be no shame but thanksgiving to God for bearing this name.

Pope Francis on the Holy Spirit.

Pope Francis delivered his 14  August  2016 address to the crowds who had gathered in St. Peter's Square for the weekly Angelus.

In his address before reciting the Marian prayer, the pontiff reflected on the themes of the day's Gospel reading, specifically on Jesus' words: "I have come to set the earth on fire." He explained how the fire about which Jesus speaks is that of the "Holy Spirit, the living and working presence in us from the day of our Baptism."

This fire is a "creative force which purifies and renews," as it burns away every human misery, egoism, and sin, he said. "It transforms us from within, regenerates us, and makes us capable of love."

"Jesus wants the Holy Spirit to burn like fire in our hearts, because it is only from the heart that the fire of Divine love can strengthen and advance the Kingdom of God," he said.

By opening ourselves completely to the Holy Spirit, we will be given the the "courage and zeal to proclaim to everyone Jesus, and his consoling message of mercy and salvation."

The Holy Spirit keeps the Church from being "held back by fear and calculations" or becoming accustomed to staying within secure confines, Pope Francis said.
"The Apostolic courage which the Holy Spirit ignites in us as a fire helps us overcome walls and barriers, makes us creative," and spurs us along "unexplored or uncomfortable paths, offering hope to those we meet."

"We are called to become ever more a community of persons who are guided and transformed by the Holy Spirit," the pontiff said.

Speaking off the cuff, Pope Francis said the fire of the Holy Spirit brings us to those who suffer from various miseries and problems, including migrants and refugees.

Now more than ever there is a need for priests, consecrated men and women, and lay faithful, the Pope said, "who, throughout the world, are dedicated to the proclamation of the Gospel with great love and loyalty, often even at the cost of their lives."

"Their exemplary witness reminds us that the Church does not need bureaucrats or meticulous officials,"  Pope Francis said. Rather, it needs "passionate missionaries, consumed by zeal to bring the consoling Word of Jesus and his grace to everyone."

"This is the fire of the Holy Spirit," the pontiff said, again going off script. "If the Church does not receive this fire, or allow it to enter, it becomes a cold or only  Church, incapable of giving life, since it is made of cold or lukewarm Christians."

The Pope encouraged those present to take five minutes to ask themselves whether their own hearts are cold or lukewarm, and if they are capable of receiving this fire of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for conversion

Notes of meeting on 15 August 2016

Picture of Our Blessed Mother in the midst of us once again she held out her hand containing the Rosary.
She motioned with her hand to look closely.
There were two people the fist was immersed in prayer saying the Rosary, reading the bible and going to Mass as often as possible. the second person went to Mass occasionally but was generally not a praying person, they believed in God but were so busy with life that they didn't pray much.
Evil darts were being fired at both persons, the first felt no dart or arrow because the armour could not be penetrated. The second felt every dart and arrow causing much confusion in their life, petty quarrels and jealousies to flare up and all the good they tries to do seemed to end up in failure. That person felt something was missing.
Mary says:
"Pray my children at all times in all situations, pray the armour of God about you by means of my Holy Rosary. Satan hates this prayer, go to the Eucharist my Son Jesus as often as possible with these aides you will feel less the darts of the evil one and in fact you will become impervious to them.
Go to confession often and you will feel an overriding sense of peace especially during Mass, your thoughts will be centred and ordered on my Most Glorious Son Jesus and He wills send you arrows of Divine Love in your hearts. These arrows will never hurt you for they are pure love, you will receive all that you need to heal your lives to change your lives and eventually to sanctify your lives in God's eyes.
Pray for conversion of your very souls and pray for your brothers and sisters to be converted to the ways of God, Invoke the Holy Spirit continually and great changes will come about. Change required prayer so my beloved pray!
I bless you with my maternal love, Mary."

Wisdom 5 v 15-23
15 But the upright live for ever, their recompense is with the Lord, and the Most High takes care of them.
16 So they will receive the glorious crown and the diadem of beauty from the Lord's hand; for he will shelter them with his right hand and with his arm he will shield them.
17 For armour he will take his jealous love, he will arm creation to punish his enemies;
18 he will put on justice as a breastplate, and for helmet wear his forthright judgement;
19 he will take up invincible holiness for shield,
20 of his pitiless wrath he will forge a sword, and the universe will march with him to fight the reckless.
21 Bolts truly aimed, the shafts of lightning will leap, and from the clouds, as from a full-drawn bow, fly to their mark;
22 and the catapult will hurl hailstones charged with fury. The waters of the sea will rage against them, the rivers engulf them without pity,
23 a mighty gale will rise against them and winnow them like a hurricane. Thus wickedness will lay the whole earth waste and evil-doing bring down the thrones of the mighty.

Matthew 7 v 24-29
24 'Therefore, everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock.
25 Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock.
26 But everyone who listens to these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand.
27 Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and struck that house, and it fell; and what a fall it had!'
28 Jesus had now finished what he wanted to say, and his teaching made a deep impression on the people
29 because he taught them with authority, unlike their own scribes.

Isiah 40 v 1 - 11
1 'Console my people, console them,' says your God.
2 'Speak to the heart of Jerusalem and cry to her that her period of service is ended, that her guilt has been atoned for, that, from the hand of Yahweh, she has received double punishment for all her sins.'
3 A voice cries, 'Prepare in the desert a way for Yahweh. Make a straight highway for our God across the wastelands.
4 Let every valley be filled in, every mountain and hill be levelled, every cliff become a plateau, every escarpment a plain;
5 then the glory of Yahweh will be revealed and all humanity will see it together, for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken.'
6 A voice said, 'Cry aloud!' and I said, 'What shall I cry?' -'All humanity is grass and all its beauty like the wild flower's.
7 The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of Yahweh blows on them. (The grass is surely the people.)
8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God remains for ever.'
9 Go up on a high mountain, messenger of Zion. Shout as loud as you can, messenger of Jerusalem! Shout fearlessly, say to the towns of Judah, 'Here is your God.'
10 Here is Lord Yahweh coming with power, his arm maintains his authority, his reward is with him and his prize precedes him.
11 He is like a shepherd feeding his flock, gathering lambs in his arms, holding them against his breast and leading to their rest the mother ewes.

Come back to me

Notes of meeting on 9 August 2016

Picture of Jesus in a white garment; he seemed to be far off as though a veil obscured Him fully from us.
Then the light emanating from Him seemed to push the veil aside and Jesus could be seen fully in all His Glory.
Not one person on the earth could mistake who he was The Most Holy Son Of God The Most High.
Jesus was reaching out to us with one hand and with the other hand revealed His Most Sacred Heart.
He says:
"My children shortly I will reveal myself fully to all mankind, all will see the Truth.
Pray that those who abuse Me and torture Me will come to me in repentance and I will gladly take them to My Sacred Heart and heal and cleanse them.
Pray that they will prepare for the cup of the Father's wrath is full.
My children do not be lost to Me for My Heart is tender and broken for you. Come back and I will dress you once again in holiness as a mother dresses her child with love and tenderness and in true joy.
To each one of you I say I love you personally, come back to Me, don't break My Heart by refusal for I thirst for you.
Pray as My Mother prays for Her prayer is most effective and made in the true will of My Father.
I bless you, Jesus."

Micah 7 v 18-20
18 What god can compare with you for pardoning guilt and for overlooking crime? He does not harbour anger for ever, since he delights in showing faithful love.
19 Once more have pity on us, tread down our faults; throw all our sins to the bottom of the sea.
20 Grant Jacob your faithfulness, and Abraham your faithful love, as you swore to our ancestors from the days of long ago.

Matthew 14 v 22 - 36
22 And at once he made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side while he sent the crowds away.
23 After sending the crowds away he went up into the hills by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,
24 while the boat, by now some furlongs from land, was hard pressed by rough waves, for there was a head-wind.
25 In the fourth watch of the night he came towards them, walking on the sea,
26 and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. 'It is a ghost,' they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But at once Jesus called out to them, saying, 'Courage! It's me! Don't be afraid.'
28 It was Peter who answered. 'Lord,' he said, 'if it is you, tell me to come to you across the water.'
29 Jesus said, 'Come.' Then Peter got out of the boat and started walking towards Jesus across the water,
30 but then noticing the wind, he took fright and began to sink. 'Lord,' he cried, 'save me!'
31 Jesus put out his hand at once and held him. 'You have so little faith,' he said, 'why did you doubt?'
32 And as they got into the boat the wind dropped.
33 The men in the boat bowed down before him and said, 'Truly, you are the Son of God.'
34 Having made the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret.
35 When the local people recognised him they spread the news through the whole neighbourhood and took all that were sick to him,
36 begging him just to let them touch the fringe of his cloak. And all those who touched it were saved.

May My Word be a light to your feet.
