Alleluia, alleluia.
I am the way, and the truth, and the life, says the Lord.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
Alleluia.
Gospel: John 14:1-12
‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life.’
At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.’ Thomas said to him, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.’
Philip said to him, ‘Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, “Show us the Father”? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.
‘Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.’
Since it is from you, God our Father, that redemption comes to us, your adopted children, look with favour on the family you love, give true freedom to us and to all who believe in Christ, and bring us all alike to our eternal heritage.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Notes from meeting on 28 April:
Picture of people flowing toward Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Picture of many Angels singing and playing trumpets and instruments, the exquisite sound is drawing many sheep from their pastures to follow the Shepherd.
The many, many sheep and lambs hearing this music are drawn to follow and can see the light ahead emanating from the Sacred Heart of Jesus the True Shepherd.
At the back are many sick and crippled sheep with in turned feet, some are struggling to keep going!
Blessed Mother and many Saints are at the back urging them forward and in many cases aiding them. None are lost that ask for help.
"My dear little children,
Follow the sound of My Son Jesus’ Voice, He Who Is The Way, The Truth and The Life.
Let His Love so fill you that you can hear no other call on your heart.
I myself with the Saints will help you see clearly the way forward, do not be disheartened or afraid, we shall never leave you orphans.
I am your Mother and together with all in Heaven will always show you the way to My Son Jesus, He Who Is The LIVING Word.
Mary Your Mother."
Jesus is the Good Shepherd who leads us from the front toward our Homeland in Heaven. He is also the Good Shepherd that walks amongst us, accompanying us on our journey through life. Helping us overcome life's difficulties.
He is also the Good Shepherd who walks behind us when we fall back or turn away, through sin or he helps bind our wounds and infirmities and encourages us that we may continue on the way.
Jesus as the Bridegroom giving a Holy Kiss to us as his bride.
