Oil of gladness

Notes from meeting of 4 June 2013

Picture of the prayer group and God pouring anointing oil over the building and right into the building and over the group.
The oil covered every person and they became free and able to work for God much more effectively. The oil seeped out in to the streets and to other parts of the surrounding areas. Everywhere this anointing went light became more visible and the people more free and more gifted.
Darkness was dispelled and the Spirit more able to do his mighty work. We could all see that this group has been and still is a great blessing not only to us and all those who have attended but those in surrounding areas and those we have prayed and interceded for.
We are little 'God Bearers' 'Theotokos' just as Our Mother asked us to be.

God is showing us that although we don't always see the fruits of our prayer and praise none the less it has had far reaching graces for us and others. Individually we are each important to God but because we are called to pray together as Our Lady requested our group has become a little oasis, a haven, a training ground for us and others.

It was felt that we will be used powerfully to help God's people as long as we are open and let the Holy Spirit work through us. We should be praying for the gifts but especially of humility and perseverance both gifts that Our Lady has.

Acts 4 v 29-33
29 And the jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas. 30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.
